Dorman 82560 Oil Adapter And Cooler Gasket Assortment Compatible with Select Models, 15 Piece

Had to get these for my oil cooler adaptor when I installed my reman engine, work good, no leaks, I also installed new oil cooler lines.

It worked great still dont have any leaks

Installed this a few years back in a '00 4.3 I dropped in a 1st gen Blazer. Was fine for about a year, until I yanked the engine again to replace all the other gaskets throughout the engine. Once the remote oil filter adapter was disturbed, it leaked like a sieve. Normally you can reuse these types of gaskets at least once, especially so soon after installation. Not this one. Lesson learned - buy another if you plan on removing the remote filter adapter for any reason! Cost me hundreds of dollars in oil over the past few years. Haven't been motivated to fix it yet ...

This product only provides the large o-ring/gasket for the adapter to block. There are 2 additional o-rings that may fit the newer XJ’s but didn’t fit my 91. My oil adapter had the bolt vs. the torx fitting.

Unfortunately for me, without a picture I ordered the wrong part. This product simply is a generic set of o-rings for vehicles. There are probably about 20 different ones, ranging in size from very small to VERY large. Personally, I was looking for the oil filter adapter gasket set for a Chevy 350, and this was not it. Oh well!

Used on a 1994 lt1 offset filter adapter - getting the old gasket off the block was a nightmare - this aluminum gasket didn’t look right but it seems to work just fine. No more leak!
