Lavanila - The Healthy Body Butter. Paraben-Free, Clean, and Natural - Pure Vanilla 6.7 oz

If you love Lavanilla's vanilla grapefruit perfume, you'll love this. It's strongly perfumed and smells wonderful.It doesn't smell anything like a body spray though. It's definitely a complex perfumy smell. The vanilla and grapefruit are parts of the smell, but you wouldn't smell this and think grapefuit dessert or anything.To some people, this may be an old lady smell since its complex and not sweet. My grandmother, born in the 20s wore a perfume like this. It's not a simple or obviously fruity smell. I've never gotten more compliments on a scent though. Everyone seems to love it and doesnt turn gross if I get sweaty or anything.The downside of this is that it's really not a good idea to use this as a body butter because it's too highly perfumed and too lightweight for that. It's better as a hand lotion and maybe for the elbows too. If you use this all over your body, you will definitely have way too much perfume on.

I have been using this lotion exclusively for the last 6 or so years, ever since i had a sample in my ipsy bag. I am in love with this lotion. I always get lots of compliments about the scent. My skin is hydrated and smooth. It doesn't leave a oily residue and it smells amazing for several hours. It is more costly than other lotions, but it is so very worth it to me!

I bought this because I loved the matching fragrance so much. Well, it DOES NOT have the same scent...BUT once it’s on the skin it has a much softer scent, it just takes awhile. AND it is incredibly moisturizing! Makes my skin so unbelievably soft, could not believe how soft after just one use. And the scent does compliment the matching fragrance.

This cream is okay; however, it has a weird after scent I can't quite place. Not a classic scent.

I have been using this product for 2 weeks and love it. This is one of the best body butters I have ever used. It is not greasy, yet is an incredible moisturizer. The all natural ingredients make me feel good about what I am putting on my body. Being a cancer survivor, I am careful about the products I use. I am thrilled to have a company create a product that feels amazing and smells incredible as well. This is a very light and fresh scent that stays all day. I feel great when I use it!!! I highly recommend it and can't wait to try the other Lavanila products.

I first used Lavanila Pure Vanilla lotion after receiving a sample in a subscription box. I almost gave it away, as I have so many different body lotions and vanilla isn't one of my favorite scents. I'm so happy I tried it.The scent of this is absolutely unreal. It's the most clean, light scent of real vanilla. I didn't realize how artificial other vanilla products smelled until I tried this. The lotion is luxuriously creamy, and absorbs quickly without any greasy feeling. The scent lingers, but lightly enough to not be overpowering. This lotion is a must have, I keep a bottle at home, work, one in my truck and in my purse. You won't regret buying this, promise.

I have been looking for a vanilla lotion that could replace the original bath & body vanilla bean or the Victoria's secret vanilla lace for years and unfortunately this is not it. After reading all the reviews I thought this would have a good vanilla scent. I don't know if I got a bad bottle, but this did not have a vanilla scent at all. It reminded me of cheap, nasty smelling men's cologne. I quickly returned it.

This is an ok lotion, smell is ok, moisturizes ok.. nothing special about it. The vanilla smell is not sweet more of a chemical vanilla smell. And the texture of the lotion is lumpy. For the price (15 dollars) I would expect a lot more. I will try something else

love this stuff. worth the money. i wish it was sold in canada!! i have a hard time using a lot of hand creams since having greasy feeling hands afterwards makes me crazy. this stuff absorbs fast and leaves skin super soft without greasy residue.

At first i thiught it was "not the very worst smell" but honestly after half an hour... it smells like an insect repellent and doesn't go away easy. Nothing like vanilla.

Awesome product. No harsh chemicals, not greasy and actually moisturizes. The scent is quite strong though, so be careful if you're sensitive to strong smells.
