First Time Using A Chemical Peel
As my title states, this was my first time using a chemical peel. I've never had one before, so I was a little scare doing it myself. I did some research before doing it, but finally got the balls to do it tonight. I was in the military and I've been pepper sprayed before so I thought it would be a similar experience. I was right only being pepper sprayed was far worse. I have super oily and sensitive skin. Microdermabrasion prodcuts DO NOT work on me and make my face worse. I have ance scars from picking at my face although I don't consider myself to really have bad acne. I get quite a bit of blackheads as I workout regularly as I'm a weight lifter and runner. I use biore strips, but they are ok. I wanted to do a chemical peel that wasn't super crazy as I'm only 29 and my skin on my face looks bad lately as far as scars. I don't even have fingernails and I've managed to scar my face and have sun spots from running outsie. I do take vitamin @ and Zinc as one help with oil reduction and the other helps with blemishes. I eat pretty well too as I'm somewhat of a health nut. Anyway, I washed my face with my OXY salycilic acid 2% facewash, cotton balled it with my with hazel that has 14% alcohol, dried it, then took a cotton ball of the chemical peel and dotted it all over my face. It burned immediately and I got worried because my skin is sensitive, so I went straight to my fan and finished applying the peel. After a minute or so the burning went down and so did the watering of my eyes (lol). I used the baking soda/water (1c. water/1tbspn baking soda) and it killed the burning immediately. Then I washed my face lightly with water and a washcloth as the directions state. I could see my skin getting white from the chemical before I put the baking soda/water mask on. So weird. I patted my face dry and now it's just somewhat red, to be expected, and I noticed an immediate reduction in my amount of blackheads! CRAZY! I'm excited and looking forward to my results over the next few days. Can't wait to do it again! I wish more people would post reviews of how it works. I'm hoping to see my scars go away along with my sun spots.

Five Stars
great product but do be careful with acid. I have a similar story to a lot of the others on here. first let me say if you have to go to anywhere like to a wedding, to work or to the store within 3 days of using this peel, DONT DO THE PEEL! expect great redness and burning, stinging of your skin. i cleansed my face with alcohol and then applied the peel with a cotton ball. IMMEDIATELY my skin began to frost and sting and i freaked out. i let It stay on my face for a minute or two (that was all I could stand) and then began to wash my face with cold water until the frosting went away. I dried my skin and then did the baking soda to neutralize the acid and the stinging and burning took awhile to stop. i made a paste of the baking soda and put it on like a mask. finally I got relief.your skin will look very bad for 2-3 days and then it will start to peel to reveal much better looking skin. I was a prisoner in my house for 2 full days because my skin was black and burned in some areas to the point you think its never going to look normal again. however as I said it peeled off (probably too soon) thank God. I don't like the fact that this company sent me pre-shave oil instead of their acid neutralizer. but you are able to make your own using baking soda and water. I also used inexpensive hydrocortisone 1% cream otc and a little olive oil/lecithin. I will do this peel again in a month.

Love it!!!
First time using a chemical peel. Reading the comments I honestly thought that people were exaggerating the pain they were feeling when they put on the peel, but let me tell you they are not!! I have a high pain tolerence and this was pain like I have never felt before, it literally feels like your face is on fire, it burns so bad. But don't let that intimidate you into trying this product or trying any chemical peel for that matter. The results are amazing, I have had acne prone/oily skin for a very long time, started like around the 5th grade (im 20 now) and I have tried a lot of things, even changing my diet. This peel works wonders, I wish I would of taken a before and after pic to show you guys. One thing though that you have to make sure that you don't have anything to do for the first couple of days like the first 4-5 days because your face is going to be peeling all over the place, just make sure you dont pick at it, as well as staying out of the sunlight! and keep it moisterized at alll times! I used jojoba oil that I got from GNC, it works amazing on the skin. Also, please make sure you follow directions on how to properly use a chemical peel because you don't want to mess up your skin because you didn't do it correctly. I really cant wait to do this again!

Serious business here. Not for the faint of heart
Before purchasing this, one should prepare oneself. Watch YouTube videos and do some research first. Know what you're getting into. Once you receive the SA peel, read the instructions first, obviously. Be prepared for the burn. I have an incredibly high tolerance for pain but this stings and burns like nothing I've ever felt before. I've been needing extra help combating my summer breakouts and this was something I'd been wanting to try. It will dry out your skin and you will peel. You will look a little funny so I wouldn't recommend applying this to your face before a shower, birthday, wedding or some other big event. It may be a good idea to have something cool ready to put on your face afterwards. It really burns and your eyes will water something fierce.
