False and misleading information
This should have zero stars, but unfortunately, it isn't an option. To start, this book is full of misspellings and grammatical errors. For example, in one of the headings she spells "body" as "boddy"! It's a book on body butters for crying out loud!In the introduction, several times she calls the fats in nut butters "essential oils" and nothing can be further from the truth. Some contain essential fatty acids, but none contain essential oils. These "authors" that, apparently, spend an afternoon on Google looking stuff up NOW think they are experts. They download a free ebook on writing an ebook and then slap it up on Amazon. You are a danger to the public. Anyone with no experience reading this book will think you are an expert when you clearly are not. Hopefully, when they see how badly you spell they'll realise the truth.I am going to recommend that Amazon remove this book from the site.Take a class and work with the butters and oils for a few years, then write a book. Make sure you also take a refresher course on English and writing.

Be proactive rather than reactive on aging with this book!
Im not too worried about aging just yet, but would rather be proactive than reactive about it. Anything that can give me effective recipes to prevent aging, and costs a fraction of what they sell in stores whit who knows what chemicals in them..... sign me up for that! This book did just that, provided recipes that use everyday ingredients, that the worst side effect is possibly making a mess in my kitchen. If they work, great, if the don't oh well at least I tried and didnt waste a fortune on the attempt. This book provided easy to follow directions and ideas for every possibility and comfort level of ingredients.

Great recipe book.
These have a lot of great recipe! I do recommend researching preservatives such as phenonip, germabean 2 and germall plus since people do tend to put lotion on right out of the shower introducing water that harbors bacteria. Bacteria will form and breed long before you can even see it growing. The only ones I can see not using a preservative on are the solid bars at the end of the book.

Learning curve
Keeping my skin healthy and protected is a priority of mine. Discovering a book that covers the topic was very intriguing to me. I like to know what I’m using in and out; so I am pleased that the creams introduced here are home made. I spend a lot of time outdoors and my skin is largely exposed; it is my expectation that the creams mentioned here can help protect my skin from the sun as the writer puts. As they say, love the skin you are in.

One of the better recipe books
Better than I expected. I enjoyed the information presented and liked that the author took the time to explain what time of day or season a particular butter could be used. There were different recipes not just a basic recipe with different essential oils added to make it "New". A few grammatical errors that did not interfere with the flow of reading. All in all a good book I will be referencing for future use.

Great homemade body butter recipes!
This book is awesome! The recipes are very easy to follow with great instructions. Not only are there forty different recipes listed inside, but also a lot of information about body butter. I made the "Tropical delight body butter" and it turned out great and was exactly what I wanted it to be. This is a great book and I highly recommend it!
