This is a great book on medicine ball exercises
I just recently bought several books on using medicineballs. My goal is losing fat and getting into shape. This program in here for beginners gives me the path to building a body that will attract the ladies. The program is very vigorous. I am a middle aged fat guy not an athlete at all. This program works for me but it is tough. I am loosing about 2.5 to 3 pounds per week with both exercise and eating changes. I have bought about 3 other books on the subject and this is the best of them. I highly recommend it. I have a long path ahead but this program will get me there. The book has a basic & advanced track. I am only on the basic one at this time.I have purchased balls in the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 8 pound toning balls.I have purchased medicine balls in the 6, 8, 10, & 12 pound double handed balls

Lighten Up, And Start Slow
I bought this book on medicine ball training, primarily because it seemed to be the only book offered on the subject of the medicine ball.I have since found two or three others, but there are nowhere near the number of books on this subject as there are on weight training, yoga, etc.The main problem I have with this book is that he turns what is a fairly simple subject into one that is unnecessarily complicated and involved. Not that anything he says is wrong, but he just makes the whole idea of medicine ball training much more complicated than it needs to be.He seems to be the type of guy who, when you ask him what time it is, proceeds to tell you how to build a clock. For example, he advocates going through the whole repertory of exercises first, without using an actual ball, but just going through the motions without a ball, to get the feeling of the correct moves of the exercise.Does that make any sense? And, he builds such a formidable case for doing the whole catalog of moves, that you are beaten down and intimidated before you even get started. If one were to actually follow every step of his instructions to the letter, there is no question that they would be in much better shape, but what he seems not to realize is that anybody seeking to improve their physical condition is no doubt very much in need of doing so in the first place, and does not necessarily have a background of much strenuous physical activity. In other words, a physically out-of-shape person needs to be coaxed gradually into getting started, with baby steps at first, to entice them into further commitment, rather than pounding them over the head with a very intimidating list of expectations, right off the bat.
