Q: What is the carrier's actual weight? i've had back surgery and cannot lift much, per doctor's orders. specs list it as "1lb." lol

I don't know exactly, its bulky and on the heavy side, however it works great I've used mine and it is amazing simple to load and off load bike

Yeah, I'd like one as well. It would make it the ultimate stand. Pretty sure it's show piece. Low load.

Q: Will this work with an 07 te450? the drop is 18", is that correct? is there a pin for when it is raised, in case the jack leaks?

Yes it will work with your bike, the UMXH is built off an average hitch height of 18", the UMXH lowers to 3" below your receiver for loading and lifts to 16" above your receiver for transportation, there is a threaded safety pin included.
