Our agar is made from the finest ingredients available. Both products are Halal, Kosher, Vegan and Non-GMO. Our agar has a superior gel strength and for this reason our product will make significantly more agar with the same amount of product. Mix the 25 g Agar powder mix with 750 ml water. Makes up to 50, 90 mm petri dishes. Mix 50 g Agar with 1500 ml water makes up to 100, 90 mm petri dishes. Mix 100 g Agar with 3000 ml water. Makes up to 200, 90 mm petri dishes. In a pan, bring your agar mix to a hard simmer stirring constantly. After your finished bringing mixture to a hard simmer you must pressure cook your agar. For disposable petri dishes, pour your Agar into a large vessel and pressure cook at 15 psi for 15 - 30 minutes. For using individual autoclavable dishes pour your agar into your heat resistant dishes and pressure cook at 15 psi for 10 - 20 minutes. Once cooled inoculate. Warning, cooking your agar over 15 psi or for extended time may destroy your sugars and make your fungus grow slowly.
