CT-900 Calculating Time Recorder with free lifetime support and operational battery backup

This product was bought for our little company of less than 30 employees. The directions were very detailed and explained greatly how to set up everything to get started. The process was very easy as long as you followed directions and I had no problems. We love that it totals up the weekly hours for you and can also take out times such as lunch or breaks which is one of the advanced option settings. We've used this system for a couple of weeks now and it has tremendously helped make the payroll process so much easier. This was the only time clock I could find that offered the time total for each day and end of week total plus allowing for all of the extras such as clocking in early/late, time taken out automatically for lunch or breaks, daylight savings time so it automatically updates itself, keys to lock it in case you need and a full pack of time cards plus many many more options. This machine offers everything you need for any type of business. You can do weekly, bi-weekly or monthly totals as well!

A multi-step setup that took some time. Clock worked fine, then at about 14 months of use the time started to slow. We adjusted the time and then we experienced mechanical issues. The clock stopped clocking "out". Disappointed with the purchase.

Features sold this unit. Calculates hours for each day automatically. Easy to use. Cut the bookkeepers time for calculating payroll significantly. Easy to program. Quiet and auto aligns cards.

Clock start mal function within 2 years of Purchase ( In & Out Buttons do not function properly).

Not much of an upgrade from previous models, but for example, if I didnt want to make my employees to punch out every time they went on their lunch, and just to punch in the morning, and when they leave, the time recorder can calculate for you that they took their lunch break automatically. Ta da!

This time clock would be great if it worked correctly all the time. We have had it one month and had to completely reset it three times. Spoke to customer service twice, but did not get an answer as to why the clock had to be re-set. They assumed we were using the wrong side of the card, or were using old cards, etc. Honestly, the clock was just messing up! Did not get a reply when I asked for a new clock. The clock has been working for a few weeks now, but for some reason it will randomly total all hours for the day when my staff is only clocking out for lunch. The support staff assumes we are pushing the wrong buttons, and will not consider that the time clock is faulty.

At first this thing was a bit of a pain to set up but only because of all the features that have to be programmed, but the features are part of the appeal, so I got over it.The first few days I had this we had some intermittent problems, but I eventually figured out it was a programming error on my part. After I went back and reprogrammed the whole thing it was perfect. Now I adore it. It takes me minutes to do payroll now because of this machine. My employees like it as well as it helps them track their hours without much thought.Features I love:- it is pretty idiot proof as far as how to clock in and out (with my old system my employees frequently messed clocking back and forth from breaks - this eliminated it entirely!)- I love the self totaling at the end of the day, week, month - such a time saver!!Features I do not love:- the time cards are a special order and are kind of pricey - they are the only card this system reads so I can't really bargain shop for them

Doesn't show the date, skips around and is difficult to track employee hours, waste a lot of time cards.

Discontinued product, no support from manufacturer, internal battery was completely dead and or expired, will not take charge on account of it being old. Decent machine just old and outdated.
