Gooby - Luxury Dog Harness, Small Dog Step-In Harness with Microsuede Straps and Three Point Adjustables

I received this harness today. Some reviews I read said it was too thin. I wanted to address this first. I suppose a dog could chew through it but it's not paper thin. The harness is soft and supple which is exactly what I wanted to avoid chafing for my Maggie May who loves to run. Maggie is a 7 1/2 lb Dachshund mix and the medium fits her quite well with room for her to grow since she's just a pup. I looked for places on the harness that would be uncomfortable. I just couldn't find any that I was really concerned about.And this harness is good looking to boot! She's one of the best dressed dogs at our local dog park!

I was hoping the leather strapping would be strong enough for a 10lb chihuahua. However, he went after some ducks and the strap broke, and he got loose! (He didn’t catch the ducks, they flew away, but he was fast!!!). So I was a bit disappointed that the harness didn’t make it to 3 months.

I bought a small for our 5 # Morkie and medium for a 12 # biewer. They are really well made and are perfect fits for smaller breeds with the adjustments available if they get a tiny bit bigger. In fact I ordered 2 more ! I wish they came in more colors - maybe red ? I like the Gooby dog products.

Sizing is way off! I ordered a Small at first and it was way to small for my 7lb Shiba puppy! Fully extended!! I ended up ordering a Medium and it fits him like a small should. He’s only 10lbs

Really nice looking harness but got 3 stars because for the price my harness is twisted, when you have the harness laid flat the latches are not facing each other. I guess I have a defective harness.

My Yorkie had this chewed up in one wearing! At the time she weighed 4 lbs. It didn't fit her properly and she was able to work her lower jaw under the chest part. Buh bye harness. Another good waste of $. Gooby is usually a brand that works for our 3 pups. So this was unfortunate.

Very comfortable material and heavy duty clips and buckles. I have an 18 lb Jack Russell Terrier and the large fits very comfortably on a typical walk in the neighborhood, but we take her out to creeks and rivers to swim and the material definitely sags when wet and gets real loose if she pulls at all, but once dry again it always seems to shrink back to the accurate size. Overall, I really like this harness for my very active pup!

Love this harness. It's the 3rd one I've purchased. Got one for my dogs and the 3rd as a gift for my mom's dog because she liked it so much.
