good replacement
replaced factory valve and works good. used on olds cutlass 1970 and seems to be as cold as before, but without the freeze up, or getting stuck like old valve did.

Not Great If You Are Running A A6
I can only speak about my experience with this POA replacement valve but if your still running the original A6 compressor I'd reconsider. As most of us know the A6 compressor is a horsepower hog and anything you replace it with will be an improvement in power loss or weight. My POA value was stuck wide open and after looking at prices of a rebuild this option looks like a winner. The problem is going with this option causes the clutch to cycle several times a minute and because of the horsepower demand it creates an obnoxious surge going down the road. Again if you are running a modern compressor it may not be an issue for you. In hindsight I should have put a rebuilt POA on which is what I'm doing this week.

Shady shady shay
If you need one for an A body, don't go off of the description. The description is for the 50-2551. Returned this to the seller with the explanation and bought the correct one from them. They did not refund shipping even though it was their mistake. Lame. Thankfully Amazon makes things right for these companies doing bad business.
