The outside was nice but the paper is really thin and cheap. If you write with a fountain pen or any ink pen the ink will bleed through. I write a lot and enjoy quality paper. I would not order this again.

I was on the fence about spending $30 for this journal as a gift since most things I buy from amazon come in generic and flimsy packaging these days. This journal however arrived in a beautiful gift box, and the journal itself was carefully wrapped in tissue paper inside the box. It looked so pretty that I didn’t want to open it before giving as a gift! The quality of the design on the front is beautiful and very worth the money. Don’t doubt this purchase!

This product exceeded any journal that I have purchased in the past. The cover is simply beautiful, it is one of the softest covers, it is very sturdy, and I know I will have this one for a very long time. The absolute best part about this journal is you can replace the content with lined, blank, or grid paper—purchased through SohoSpark. That is just perfect. The paper comes in a bound form (the cover is a sturdy cardboard) so you can keep past data and still reuse the cover. The paper is slipped in to the front and back covers. This is truly a perfect journal.

I love the look, feel, quality and size of this journal! This journal is made well. It encompasses high quality workmanship for a great price. The leather looks smooth and shiny, the embossing looks great and the stitching looks perfect. The lined pages are a good quality paper and is a good size with 240 pages. I also love that this journal comes in it's own box! This keeps it from getting damaged in shipping, I'm sure. And I honestly love to keep my journal stored in my box on a daily basis to keep it protected from scratches. I am a lover of good quality brown leather. So, obviously this journal jumped out at me. And the tree design and phrase of "Always Growing" on the front of the journal are so fitting and can be extended to many areas of a persons life. The size is perfect for me. It can fit very easily into my purse or briefcase to take with me when I am on the go. The box is approx 6"x9"x1". The journal could be used for so many purposes! A few examples: for yourself as a daily journal-er, as a gift for a graduate, for a teenager to continue documenting learning or overcoming struggles, for an individual keeping notes for the hobby they are pursuing, or someone creating a life history. The list can go on and on. I have looked for different journals over the years and this has been my favorite so far... by far. Another quality that I love about this journal is that you can replace the journal pages and continue to use this outer binder for your journal for many years to come. I am not one to normally write reviews, but this is very deserving of a great review! LOVE IT!

I bought this for work. It's not too small and not too big for the notes I need to take. It stays open when I lay it flat and the ribbon keeps my place. No more looking for a scrap of paper or putting my pen in place. Attractive cover and refillable. I also like that I can fold papers and put them in the front or back if need be. The cover can be cleaned with a damp cloth or paper towel. Not the same old boring note pad...

I purchased this journal for my best friend for her birthday. Needless to say, she LOVES it! I chose the dove print specifically because doves are special to her. The “leather” is so soft, the paper is excellent quality and the journal lays flat for easy writing. The packaging was phenomenal in my opinion. The journal came simply wrapped in tissue to protect the “leather”, and it came packaged in a sturdy shiny, white box with the business logo (Sohospark) on the front of it. The journal was delivered in less than 5 business days and arrived in perfect condition. I also received an email directly from the seller, which I thought was an amazing touch because if there were any issues, I could contact the seller back directly. I would highly recommend these journals, and I can’t wait to purchase one for myself!I would have included photos, but since it was a gift, I didn’t want to unwrap the tissue paper that the journal arrived in. I wanted her to open it brand new. The statements about the feel of the leather, quality of the paper and how the journal lays are from her, since she has been the one using it. I love this journal. I wasn’t in love with the design on front and I do wish there were more options. However after getting it I really liked the way the design looked. The whole binder is really nice. The pages lay flat and you don’t feel like you are going to tear the pages trying to get them to lay down to be able to write, I like the way the pen writes on the paper. It is smooth. I just got the journal so we have yet to see how it will do over time. But I’m optimistic things will be just fine so much so I am ordering some refills to have on hand!

I gave this journal as a gift. My friend loves it! The cover has a lovely smooth feel and the tree looks even better than it does in the picture. The paper is exceptional, with a great feel and color. It's the kind of journal that you would write special things in. My friend has daily journals for her everyday experiences. I got this one is for her to record the stories behind her paintings. She is a very talented artist, and I love hearing about the reason she has painted a subject. Now she has a special journal to make sure that the stories are recorded.

This is a beautiful journal. I was skeptical, naturally, but I am really glad to have chose this one.It came with the lined paper insert and changing it out in the future will be very simple.It was wrapped in plastic and inside a box, then wrapped with tissue paper. It is a very nice way to show that they appreciate your buisness.I will buy another one in time, and I will be buying one as a gift for Xmas 😊

The journal is very beautiful, however the material feels very cheap. I love the design on the front, and will keep it to write a story for someone in. However, for the price I paid, I was expecting better quality. When I opened the journal, the removable book of paper on the inside shifted with the cover. The cover isn’t connected to the paper (which I knew) but I thought the two would jive better together.The journal came in a nice box, and a nice wrapper over it the journal. I’ll be gifting it in the box and wrapper because it makes it look so nice.

This was everything I was looking for in a journal. I plan to use this as a gift to my child as a journal of their life and my feelings/ experiences raising them. The covering is gorgeous, and the feel /sturdiness of the pages are excellent. No issues with the seller whatsoever and all the transit /payment went smoothly. Thank you so much for this!

I bought this for the cover as I needed one for my Jibun Techo A5 slim and a couple other smaller notebooks. It is perfect (not too big) and it's beautiful. I love it!
