Brightened up an old shower
Prep work was extensive. The smell is a bad as everyone says so make sure you wear a respirator. I watched all the videos and read the reviews so i was kinda prepared for the ordeal. My biggest pet peeve was that the directions implored you to keep the roller on the wet side to prevent the roller from leaving "orange peel" marks. I was going along well, and then would look back and the coating was starting to run. i would roll over it to get rid of the run, but that would leave the orange peel. i was hoping that it would flow out and dry smoother but it dried with a rough surface in some spots. Also i was doing a white coating on a white shower, so it sometimes became difficult to keep track of where i had already painted. The shower stall floor was in bad shape and looked much, much better after finishing. i ordered two kits to make sure i had enough product as many reviewers suggested, but only used one and then discovered that it was a non-returnable item.

One month later: love it!!
I wanted to wait at least a month before writing a review to make sure it's still looking great, and it is!Overall the process wasn't bad, but be prepared for lots of prep (as with any product like this). To ensure it lasts, that tub needs to be beyond spotless so it all sticks. Everything you need to do that is supplied (aside from the Comet), which is great. However, I went and got a brush attachment for my drill, and used that with the Comet to speed up the prep. For about $10 at a hardware store, it was money well spent (plus you can reuse it for other projects). The non-slip additive works well, but I'd recommend mixing it with a little but more paint than the instructions say. I followed the directions to the "T", and felt I needed just a little more to finish the floor as shown. The thing is that when you apply the non-slip to the floor, that's it - the floor is painted. You shouldn't apply more (non-slip) paint on top, or it will start smoothing it out.One more tip: be VERY careful with drips as you're applying it. The instructions say to make sure the roller is always very wet, but that can result in a running paint situation down the walls of the tub. I've got several that you can notice when the light hits it right, so I should have kept a closer eye on it while it was just starting to dry to roll out any paint runs I saw. Also, at least double the amount of time they recommend before pulling up the painter's tape around the tub - the paint stayed wet for me for a while longer, so there was a bit of a mess to clean up when I removed the tape.Overall I love this product and will be getting more to do the walls of the shower, too. Just follow the advice above and you'll be golden. =)

This product is amazing!
I had written a long review and when I uploaded the pictures the message was deleted :(. So short story now. I don’t get the bad reviews, it works amazing, maybe make sure you follow all instructions correctly.

Great Stuff!
I ordered two kits because I wasn't sure if one would be enough. Once you start you can't wait a couple days to get another kit because you will have to start from scratch on the prep. I didn't need the second kit and returns were easy since Amazon won't take it back because of the chemicals but Bathworks included a return label and I saved the original shipping box that had all the appropriate markings for liquids.Get a good respirator and have excellent ventilation because this stuff will smell up your whole house for a couple days (it is powerful stuff) and plan on not using your bathroom for those days unless you wear the respirator in there.I'm a former fiberglass shop owner and I knew that prep was the key. You HAVE to get every square millimeter of your surface cleaned and scuffed with sandpaper for this to stick. I ordered extra sandpaper (150 wet/dry) so I didn't have to open the second kit just to get the sandpaper out. This material is thick and it is easy to either under apply, where you will have a surface like an orange peel, or over apply and have runs while your not looking. Have very bright light for the application and it will help with this. Double and triple check that you have everything ready to go before you add the hardener to the resin because once you do the clock starts ticking and there is nothing you can do to stop it. The label says a three hour working time but don't depend on it, a lot of different factors affect that. Just realize that if you don't follow the instructions to the letter, or if something goes wrong you can mess up your whole bath/shower permanently. It has been two months since I did the job and it looks great and is holding up wonderfully, everything went really well because I planned it out and read the instructions completely like four times and had them in hand to review after every step. Great stuff Bathworks!

My shower 🚿 looks new again.
I used the product to refinish my shower 🚿. It works great, just follow the instructions. You will definitely need good face mask because it has a very strong smell. We had to sleep in different room for 2 nights. Keep your windows open during drying time. I strongly recommend this product.
