Hassel free wireless backup camera
I love this backup camera. Some reason that makes this camera cool.1. It is really easy to hook up. No complication with the wiring, you can easily connect the camera and monitor. For the camera, you can connect it from the backup light. I prefer that as it automatically turns off the monitor while not backing up.2. The monitor is bright which makes it easy during the daylight.3. The design of the monitor is cool and convenient. It has the magnet in the back along with the stand. So easy to place wherever you want on the dash.4. The video signal from the camera to the monitor in real-time, so no risk of crashing.5. The LED light makes it brighter even in the low light.Overall, I think it is a good product and easy to setup.

Excellent Video Quality and Easy Installation
Just finished installation of this system on an older Toyota Camry and I am impressed with the quality of the video image and the ease of installation. Only two wires are needed to connect the camera itself. The monitor in the cabin uses a windshield suction-cup mount and power is from the cigarette lighter plug. This is a easy as it gets."Ease of installation" is relative and depends on your car and your mechanical/electrical skill level. Make no mistake, this is far easier installation than any other wired system since you do not have to remove panels throughout the car to get the video to the dash area. Here are some issues you may have to deal with on installation: 1) You will have to remove interiors panel in the trunk area to get to the reverse light bulb and back of the license plate area. For this you should invest in a "panel popper" (search Amazon" to remove all those pesky plastic button fasteners effortlessly. 2) If you are mounting the camera above the license plate, then most cars will have license plate lights in a trim piece just above the license plate. This trim piece will have plastic fastens and/or 10mm nuts holding it on. 3) The wire for the camera must go into the interior of the trunk area so you can drill a hole right above the camera mounting position (using a small grommet will prevent the wire from chaffing) or you can remove the license plate light holder and notch its gasket to pass the wire through. Since this camera uses a very small connector, only a small hole is needed (not a large hole for RCA connectors!) 4) Once you have removed the panels and exposed the back light (clear lens), remove the socket (twist left and pull) from the housing. To verify that it is the reverse light bulb, go into the car, turn on ignition and put it in reverse and the bulb should light. Usually, the wires to the socket are color coded; red for +12v and black for ground (positive may be red/yel/pink; ground may be black/white). To make sure of polarity, remove bulb and test with a voltmeter. When routing the cable from the camera to the backup light bulb, be aware of the wifi transmitter module with its short antenna along the cable. Make sure that it is not hidden between metal panels, (especially in the trunk lid) or placed (touching) a metal panels in the trunk. If your video on your monitor is glitchy, try moving the antenna position. When routing the wires it is usually not a good idea to have them just dangling. Get some small tie wraps and secure the wires to existing cable harnesses to prevent snagging on things. You may have issues using the T-Connector (I did not) if the backup bulb wire is a smaller gauge than normal. If after using the T-connector and your monitor displays "no signal" the T-Connector may have not pierced through the insulation of the wire and there is no power to the camera. To check, remove the in-line fuse to the camera and check for voltage (put ground wire on the chassis of car). If you do not have power, you will have to remove the connector and make a wire splice instead and should be soldered for reliability. The 5" monitor is very high quality and looks very good. The suction cup mount works great on the windshield but not on vinyl dash surfaces. The magnet is uber strong. I mounted mine on the console below the radio as I did not want it in my field of view when driving and did not want any glare issues. As far monitors for backup cameras, you can have a dedicated monitor such as this one or those integrated into a rear view mirror unit (I have two of these). The integrated units look very cool but here are some of my observations: The integrated units monitor are smaller than this stand-alone monitor so it becomes harder to see. Also, more important is that the integrated units have a highly reflective surface (to function as a rear view mirror) which makes them succeptible to a lot a glare during daylight which at times obscures the image. This unit's large size and high brightness is a real plus.Several items that could be improved on this system. 1) First the suction-cup ball joint is limited in its ability to move in certain directions. 2) The "No Signal" display on the monitor should be eliminated or made smaller and placed in corner. It is distracting if monitor is in field of view when driving.Overall, this system is a 5 for me.

Backup camera
This is a great product for the money, the picture is very clear. It makes it a lot easier to back in tight spaces. The instructions were very clear, easy installation. This is great for older vehicles I give this a thumbs up. Customer service is amazing, great company to deal with.

Good price/resolution , but beware for interference with key-less transmission, terrible adhesive
Chinese electronic (not enough instructions to guide you finding the wiring to connect to the backup lights, that will vary heavily depending on the car make/model, reception flicks on non- freeway roads. the installation is like most backup cameras so you'll likely have to call one of your buddies that are handy with car stuff. be prepared to buy a voltage meter to help you identify cables or, the painless way recommended is to look for a car electrician that could install this for 50 bucks (good luck finding one for less than that) so you don't have to deal with removing trunk panels and tracking cables or risk messing your wiring (pain in the rear). the disappointing thing that I've confirmed is that the adhesive metal plate that goes in the back of the screen is cheap quality and started to fall in my car after a few days of installed and keeps falling so be ready to use some heavy duty glue to attach the plate to the screen. last , but not least, for those like me that have key-less entry/start, I've found the transmitter interferes with the frequency of your key-less system and you will be surprised that randomly you are unable to unlock your doors or push start your car!

Less wires but you still need to do wiring
Less wires but unless you know how to deal with wires in your car to install it- no thanks. The instructions are not clear so I’m guessing they may pay folks to review this. That or the reviews are quite handy. That said- I can do most simple home repairs with an accurate you tube video. The link provided on the instructions I got were for another camera. Then I try to return it (yay free return) only to discover I must use the ups provider or store they choose. My shipping guy can’t use the code provided.I’m guessing it’s probably a fine camera once installed, but I’m gonna have to pay a lot for an installation or risk clipping wires that I don’t understand and damaging my car. I’ll ask around but I wouldn’t get this if your Not comfy doing such tasks.

Clean install, great deal!
I like the clean look of the monitor without sticking antennas out as it is integrated. I have installed this camera setup on my old GMC Envoy and it works fine. The timing between switching to reverse and showing a picture on the monitor is instant(0 delays). The reason to go with this wireless camera is that my wired one was working intermittent and didn't like the cut off in my head unit every time I reverse.

Easy to install and good overall quality.
I cannot comment on the durability of this item, as I have only used it for a month or so. It was easy to set up. I wired it directly to the reverse lights on my Polaris ATV, so it comes on automatically when I put the transmission into reverse. I've had some issues with picture quality, but for the price, it is still a 5-star product. By quality, I mean the picture could be a little sharper. I was supposed to get a second camera free with this purchase, but was not contacted by the company with that offer, so I do not know what that was about. So far, so good with this item.
