Perfect for my needs
I bought these plans because I wanted a shed that was a bit different looking than your typical shed. For the most part they were easy to follow. This is the first time I've ever built an actual building, so for me the plans were fairly easy to follow. I wanted this for storage, so did not add the side door and I resized the windows to ones my husband got for free from his work. This took me 6 months to build by myself, but I did it in phases as I was saving money for each phase. I did not build it on skids, but built it on 4"x8"x16" pavers. I also insulated the inside, added osb to the inside walls and also made the doors thicker and insulated them and sided it with osb and cement board siding. I haven't calculated the total cost yet, but it will be cheaper than what local companies are asking for their pre-built, uninsulated sheds. I am really happy with the results.

Nice set of plans
Arrived in a Ziplock type envelope inside of the mailing envelope to protect them.Well thought out set of plans, includes list of materials, and details for each stepof this project. Can't wait to see this built. My husband does AutoCAD for Electricalapplications and said he would have loved to have this on disc to modify as he builtthe shed, but overall he is pleased.

First time doing anything like this. Instructions are difficult in some cuts
First time doing anything like this. Instructions are difficult in some cuts. The rafters were tricky but if you have someone to consult should be easy. You need at least one other person for this product.

Fantastic
Hi saw that some people mentioned it was just a simple piece of paper, but, what we got was an actual booklet with dimensions, supply, lists, and everything else we need to build this shed. It looks perfect for what we need.

Some design flaws
I am still in the process of building this shed and will update when I finish.First off, the plans are well laid out and detailed. The printing is large enough to read, and the materials list is a good place to start. However, I made some modifications to the design so I had to modify the materials list as well. The reason for 3 stars is because these plans call for pressure treated 4x4 support beams, 2x4 joists and OSB flooring. I would NEVER recommend untreated lumber to be used for the foundation/floor of a shed. It simply will not last! I also would never recommend 2x4 joists or OSB for a shed this size. I used 2x6 PT Lumber for the joists and 3/4" PT plywood for the flooring. *Note: you must use galvanized nails when using PT lumber.

Decent Plans
I used these plans primarily for framing the walls and getting the roof angles for the saltbox design. I opted to beef up the floor using 2x6 joists and pier blocks, but the included 2x4 joists and skid design is popular and probably strong enough for most uses. I also opted to remove the side door and frame both ends identically because this was going to be an equipment storage shed and less points of entry the better IMO. There is quite a bit of material overage included for waste in the material calculations, so don't do like I did and add 10%- you'll end up with way too much. Also, the 30x30" windows specified in the plan were special order at my local home improvement store and EXPENSIVE. It was very easy to adjust the stud spacing on the front wall to allow for the stock, 18x24" shed windows that were 1/3 the price. Changing the front wall stud spacing also allowed me to run 2x4 shelves between the first pair of studs on the front and back wall to create full length shelves on each end of the shed.

Plans came from a Cracker Jack box!
Terrible set of plans, terrible lumber list. Better get used to wasting lumber till you figure out the plans are garbage.

Built A Great Shed
Bought the plans and my son and I built the shed on his property. Can not be happier with the results. We put the shed up for at least $1,000 less than it would have cost us buying a shed kit. We saved that money and used better and stronger materials than we would have gotten in a kit. I would suggest you look the direction over very carefully before starting the project. A few things were not clear in the directions. Just take your time and think things out. By the way my son and I are not carpenters.
