This new Friend is no different, built with a twin axle it remains a Friend. At its core Wild Country's 13.75 constant cam angle provides the axis around which future climbers will place their trust. Robust and reliable this Friend combines classic features and significant additions to create an intriguing mix of old and new. Externally, stylish with significant design flourishes mean the eye is drawn to any number of clever upgrades: hollow axles (Patented) are stiffer for less weight; wide, skimmed lobes grip better yet are kinder on the rock; new 12mm dyneema is agile and easily extended, saving time and the weight of having to use a quickdraw on each. Internals are based on classic Wild Country foundations; Wild Country's legendary holding power and the consistency of overlap between units, whilst the twin axle has allowed us to increase the range per unit. Great product, great price
These cams are brilliant for the price. Easy and comfortable to use, quick to place and offer great grip. They now come in the same colours as the 'camalot' cams you can buy from another manufacturer which makes selecting them in a rack quick and easy.The mechanism is smooth, the weight is great and the extending sling loop is really handy for those deeper placements.I must say I highly rate these units and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to buy their first set of cams.l or even add to their existing rack.

Very clear colour coding.
They put a huge smile on my face when I opened the box and if it ever stops raining I'll be sure to put them to good use.

attenzione!!!! l'immagine fa credere che i friend sono 6, invece ne arrivano solo tre e senza possibilità di scegliere la misura...non mi sembra che sia corretto...probabilmente i friends sono anche buoni, ma una maggiore chiarezza sarebbe necessaria

Utili ma attenzione alle dimensioni
Acquistati per un regalo, la persona che li ha ricevuti, pur apprezzandone la qualità, aveva dubbi sulla possibilità di utilizzare il friend azzurro viste le dimensioni. Nonostante la convenienza a livello di prezzo, ritengo quindi preferibile, probabilemnte, acquistare tre friend singoli con la possibilità di scegliere la relativa misura.
