Not worth the money!
Did not come with instructions! Second did not receive all the parts.(big lid was missing). This is a total waste of good money! The novelty of it is appealing but don’t be fooled by looks.

What A Mess
Don’t know what many items are. Big mess, No Instructions What So Ever. This has got to be my third update. If you have an 8 or 9 year old, I would imagine putting this hive together would be a blast. My neighbor’s daughter has returned every day to ask if the new hive is here to put together. So, I will give it credit for its appeal to Lincoln Loggers.

Instructions need to be included.
The hive arrived with one layer unassembled. Not sure if it is suppose to come that way or not? I need some kind of instructions. No instruction in box. Just a handful of screws on bottom of box. But, I like the hive it seems to be practical and cedar smells great! Main thing is I need Instructions? Tim ([email protected])

OMG!!!!
I ordered three of these. One of them came fairly well assembled. Although as stated by previous reviewer‘s, it did not have any instructions. Instructions would really be nice when putting these things together. The other two are a complete and utter disaster. All the pieces fell out of the rings and we’re just scattered throughout the box. We spent 4 1/2 hours putting one together and it still doesn’t line up correctly. The other is completely broken. The top cover is broken and several of the rings are damaged. Also, the wood tongue and groove pieces are completely demolished. I now have to spend another $300 to buy a hive body for the bees that I’m picking up today. I managed to Frankenstein a hive together out of that mess and put my bees in. every time I go to check the hive, all of the beeswax completely collapses. I’ve only checked on them twice but every time I takeoff the top cover, all the beeswax that’s inside and built on the dowels falls off into the bottom. I’m praying I haven’t killed my queen in the process. Unfortunately these hives are not worth the money.
