A Seriously Impressive Design- Thank You!!! All smokers need.
Exactly what you need. This baby’s truly great. Solid lil piece of work... about a year ago when arc lighters were getting cheaper and more popular I always wondered when the “Arc Blaze” was going to come out! Ha at least that’s what I would have called my business, bought the URL and everything. Those old arc lighters could not light a pipe, but designed slightly differently, they could do so with precision and efficiency. What Stoner doesn’t want a 100% “green” rechargeable PLASMA lighter for 20 bucks. I mean, seriously I sell at least a dozen of these things a week just talking about them lol.Anyways as far as the arc blaze capable pieces I’ve seen, this one seems to be at the top of its class. It’s really solid and well thought out. This one has features that simply didn’t occur to other makers ( go ahead and grab yourself another replaceable battery for 3 bucks while you’re at it on here). This thing will last you years, no doubt. Great for lighting anything you throw at it- hands down, the bomb. Hope you guys enjoy as much as I do. Feels better than it looks!

Excellent lighter with one major flaw.
As soon as I got this lighter I made sure to top off the charge in the battery. Then I headed for the beach a half mile away. The wind was blowing 30 gusting to 40, a perfect test for this lighter. I was able to light a cigarette but the arc did struggle a bit in such wind but it did the job. It is very well built, heavy with a positive open and close lid. Not dainty or compact but built to do what it is designed for. The battery door cover, magnetic, is super easy to remove and replace. It is the only arc lighter, that I know of with a substantial milliamp battery. However, using a Cheotech test and charge cable, with built in digital readout of volts and amps, it charges at a mere .2 amps. NOT 2 amps but point 2 amps. This is painfully slow for battery on board charging. It is the only devise among dozens I own that charges so slowly. Of course you may want to charge the battery with an external charger, your choice. Great build, excellent quality, hot bright arc but lacking badly with on board battery charging.

GOOD, BUT BIG AND HEAVY
This lighter looks and feels like good quality, and works well just as advertised. It also has a nicely ergonomic design and is very easy to use—just flip the top, and press the button. And, I like that It uses a standard AA size rechargeable lithium battery that can be easily and inexpensively replaced. My only gripe is that it's relatively big and heavy which makes it uncomfortable to carry in my pocket. It’s much thicker and slightly taller than a standard disposable Bic lighter, and it weighs over 5 ounces which is about 7 times heavier. Also, it doesn’t have any child protection features other than the lid that easily flips open, and its much easier to ignite than a Bic or Zippo lighter. So, keep that in mind if children might get their hands on it.

Great lighter, but a tad heavy for pocket carry.
This lighter works well and can light quite a few fires between charges (I've yet to discharge it after using over 60 times). The only drawback is that it is large and heavy, compared to its more traditional cousins. However, I bought this for camping and lighting fireworks (you can light a fuse sideways without fear), and for that application, its excellent. If I had designed this, I would have gone that route completely and added an LED light to the bottom for it to double as a flashlight. It could even stand-in for the small charging indicator light it already has. In any case, it works well, looks nice, and works as advertised. It's just not pocket ready quite yet.

Really solid construction, highly recommend
Very satisfied with this product. All metal construction, good build quality (I took it apart and was genuinely surprised), great conversation piece at parties. Burns evenly, cannot be blown out (I have tried) and even includes a decent quality replaceable 14500 rechargeable battery. All around a really solid product. One slight issue: it emits a high pitch whine when you ignite (spark?) it. This is physics, not anything to do with the quality of the product. Any one of these arc lighters is going to due that just because of the way electricity works. It's only noticeable at close proximity and it isn't that loud. I'm 21 so I can still hear it but I imagine people older than I may not be able to. My cat thinks it's an insect.

Just Get It
Have tried several models of arc lighters over the last couple years and none last. Except for this one! I've had my original Kivor's dual arc for well over a year and no problems at all. This particular one was purchased as a gift for friend.Yes, their heavy and could probably be used as a weapon (LOL). I think the secret to the longevity is the battery. It is both removable and replaceable. It can even be charged in a separate charger if one has the proper charger.Highly recommend.

Great lighter build to last.
This lighter is great. I have had one for several years and just bought a second. The X design of the lighter posts makes it easy to light and clean. Solid as a rock this lighter performs every time. Charge lasts about 10 days with moderate use. Low cost replaceable batteries are available if needed. I just replaced my original. I would highly recommend. I bought the solid metal design.
