I was testing these and from my package of 10, 4 did not work and 1 had a virus on it. They looked like they were recycled. In addition to the one with a virus, the ones that worked had random folders on them. Very disappointing.--edit--Since writing this, I've been impressed by the seller's responsiveness and desire to make things right. That speaks very highly of their attention to customer service.

I took a chance on these and it has paid off! They look beautiful with shiny, metallic casings and the matching lanyards (some colors not exact matches, but still pretty) are great.To be honest, I have had more problems with expensive ScanDisk and Lexar USBs than I have had with the "bargain" brands. I prefer to have 4 USBs for the price of 1 "brand name" disc and should one not work, my experience has been that the others usually do. I have purchased several bargain USBs and have only had 2 that glitched out of approximately 50.Of course, I encourage you to be smarter than to think to store extremely important data on only 1 disk and/or to run huge programs from them.

I bought these for class I was teaching and gave them to my adult students loaded with manuals and all types of forms. They loved them. They look, feel, and act like high quality product.Update: No problems with data retrieval, been using for several months. I love these. The colored metal portion swings to reveal the usb, the swings back to protect the usb end. The product picture shows the flash drive in the closed/covered position, so you don't see the usb end, but it's there. Each different colored flash drive has its own matching or complementary colored wristlet. The wristlet is a nice quality, braided material--not plastic, it has a soft but sturdy and flexible feel. It's so handy to throw this on my wrist like a bracelet so that I don't lose it before I get it back into my computer bag or purse.

Best deal ever. I made the mistake and instead of getting a digital code for some movies I accidentally ordered digital downloads. These Flash drives came in handy for when I downloaded all the movies. Now my kids can watch the movies by plugging in the Flash drive to their TV and selecting the movie they want to watch when for me when I had a blonde moment

A co-worker referred this item to me; we are engineers (geeks). I was SO pleased with the quality and assortment of the thumb drives that I just bought a second set for my dad for Father's Day!! I will continue to purchase these for clients - GREAT PRODUCT!

I liked that they were inexpensive for the amount of space you get. I dislike that this flash drive did not work in some of my key components that I wanted it to such as my car audio system and my 3D printer for my students. I have to purchase a lot from another company.

Cost was one of the most concerns on this item. works out great for all the various embroidery designs I have.

I usually have a ton of pictures that I need to back up or store and these work great. One thing I will note is that this is not gonna be a fast transfer. This is the only down side of this is that it does run on USB 2.0 which is a rather slow transfer. It is not too slow compared to many other 2.0 drives I have . I am able to transfer and read between 8 to 11 MB/s which is not too bad but if you are looking for something faster you need to upgrade to 3.0. Most 2.0 thumb drives I have used were usually around 4 to 5 MB/s. These thumb drives are pretty well built. You are able to spin the usb out and back in with ease. UPDATE: the spinning joint became really loose after only a month and actually will not hold the thumb drive anymore. It still works and I would just take the thumb drive off the metal but I want the strap to stay in place. You may actually it to lose it's friction on the spin and it'll just flop around. What is nice about these is that they are color coded which makes it a lot easier to identify. The price as well is pretty reasonable for two 32 gb thumb drives. I checked and verified all the thumb drives and they are 32 GB. When transferring a ton of files, they do get warm but not too hot especially since they have metal layers. It is pretty much a plug and play USB device. It works on windows 7 and up as well as Mac OS. The packaging is really simple it is just in a plastic bag. There is also a build in loop that you can use to attach it to a key chain or lanyard which is nice. It also comes with wrist bands so you can put the thumb drive on your wrist without issue. I actually like to have those lanyards so I can hang the thumb drives making them easier to find and store. The thumb drives all have 32 GB capacity making it ideal for picture storage or video storage although be aware it takes time to transfer all that information when needed. The thumb drives themselves are pretty well built and do have light indicators to show transfer and connection. The light is very dim so you may not even see it. Overall these are a nice bulk set of thumb drives. They work for decent storage size, have an OK transfer speed for a 2.0, and are great to have if you need spare thumb drives. The only issue I have is the that spinning mechanism wore out REALLY fast.

As per some of the negative reviews here I can say that my test have been reliable but terribly slow. I think most corruption issues come from removing devices during write operations. Indirect I/O can make it look like you've finished copying or writing something to these drives when it hasn't flushed. Using direct IO tests I can see these get ~6MB/s write with large 4M blocks and ~600k with small 4k (default) blocks. That's pretty terrible even for USB2 but then again these are cheap. Reads are better. They are good for AV content to be read back.

Do not buy this product!!I bought these to keep photos of my child on as a back up. Unfortunately when switching laptops I moved all photos and videos of my son over using one of these USB sticks with a period of time between getting rid of one laptop and buying new.When I tried to open the USB on my new laptop it couldn’t be found. Upon various attempts I sent the USB stick to have it analysed and fixed as I now had just one copy of these precious files.It turns out that even at the highest level this USB stick cannot be fixed. They have some type of material covering the insides which means a technician in a lab can’t even access them to fix the problem. Therefore all files are now lost forever. I am devastated.Do not buy this product and risk losing such precious items like I have! I will never get those back. Call me foolish for trusting my files would be safe temporarily on a cheap USB stick but I’ve definitely learnt my lesson. Avoid this product at all costs!!!

Such a simple way to store and transfer files. Memory sticks have become well recognised technology, and these are relatively small capacity for storage in modern terms, but great for large quantities of photo files. In particular the modest storage capacity means they are exceptional value.I really like the vibrant metallic colours on the hinged cover, with matching coloured lanyards, so they are easily recognised and differentiated.

Good product low price exactly what we all want if we're honest, i use the usb flash drives for mainly photos and video storage, and playing back in the usb port on my tv.So thank you for the low price. and good product

These 4gb are great for sorting files, both pictures, videos and music.I download mp3 albums then plug it into my CD player and sit back and listen to hours of music. Each stick different styleBut... The 4 gig and 1 gig do not have any indication of size so they could now get muddled. Each should have the gig stamped on them. I will have to label them myself to avoid problems.
