Fantastic lighter! It took me a few hours with it to discover that I had to pull the lever all the way back and let it fly to ignite. Once I got past this it was smooth sailing.

I'm a regular pipe smoker and this is my go-to lighter. I've had it for 8 months now and it's going strong. I've gone through 1 flint but there is a replacement included inside the fill cap. It's a beautiful lighter and I love the feel of the lever striker. It's also a great conversation piece at parties and whatnot. People always ask about it.Pros:BeautifulThe fluid does NOT evaporate out of it (or if it does it is very slow unlike a typical zippo which will be gone in a week of non-use).Easy fluid refill and flint replacement, I've yet to replace the wick but I imagine it will be easy enough.Feels solidly madeGood conversation pieceVERY good price for what you getCons:The lever mechanism can get loose after repeated use (See below)One IMPORTANT note regarding lever mechanism:The lever mechanism will get loose after repeated use. If you are a frequent smoker then make sure to check the mechanism and tighten it every couple of weeks or once a month (a simple flathead screwdriver will do, there is a nut opposite the lever side of the lighter that you can tighten). If you don't do this then the mechanism will eventually fall apart and the tiny pieces will explode out causing you to lose them and thus render the lighter useless. I took the mechanism apart myself to see how it works and was able to put it back together, but I wouldn't recommend doing that else you risk losing a spring or something. Just keep it tight.

***Update- we returned this item and decided to order the same one again. The new one worked great and my husband is very happy with it. It seems we just got a dud the first time. I am updating this from one to four stars because the quality might be hit or miss, but the return process was easy.***Initial review: This product worked initially but the flame was a little low. My husband took it apart and adjusted a few things and then it seemed to work okay. The first night he took it outside to smoke with it, he used it to light his pipe, then when he went to relight it later the spring popped out and the flint and the flip up thing (sorry- don’t know what it’s called) and some screw just flew out of it and although we were able to find the pieces, one of them apparently broke and it can’t be put back together. Very disappointing as this was a gift for him and he really liked the looks of it.

So I followed the advice off another reviewer. When I filled the lighter with fluid it leaked a little. So I took it apart as instructed by another reviewer and discovered an o-ring that was not placed correctly. I put it back together as it should be, with the o-ring in the correct place, as well as replacing the wick with a Zippo wick vs the wick that came in the lighter. The leak is fixed and it works great, I'm very happy with this lighter for the price! It's very stylish and works well now, I'd still recommend it, even if you need to tweak it a bit!

Sweet lighter! Antique rocker-arm / kick-start style lighters go for over $100. Loving this modern version for $20.99.It is larger than I expected. My hands are a lady's medium - you can see in the pic how large it is. It is a little larger than a standard Zippo.It is nice and heavy with no loose or rattling parts. The mechanism is easy to use with either left or right hand. It lights on the first try over 99% of the time.The smooth rosewood is very pretty. I expect it to look better and better with use.The lighter comes with an extra flint stored under the fill screw.It arrived inside a plain paper box wrapped in plastic with a bit of foam to protect it. Not very nice for gift giving. IMO this lighter is deserves to be presented in a nicer box. HOWEVER, the price is awesome and I totally understand the reason for the plain-ness.

This is a nice retro design lighter. I like the single hand operation. It opens and strikes with my thumb. Came with extra wick and flints in a nice bag and box. Definitely a man’s lighter but to be taken care of. It doesn’t balance to easily when set down upright. It says Ruixi on the bottom. Came with no instructions. I like it.

I ordered 1 for a friend of mine for his birthday and he absolutely loved it, it works perfectly and even though it’s not huge and he’s got very large hands it fits very well in his and is easy to use.Unfortunately after he liked it so much I bought 1 for me and the tank was cracked so after I filled it, all the fluid leaked out and it went empty. By the time I’d realized this it was too late to return it so I ordered myself another one. From the beginning I noticed my second one was also cracked because as soon as I filled it up it started leaking out the side all over my hands and within a day it was empty as well. I was so annoyed that both of them had the same flaw that I counted myself lucky the one for my buddy managed to be good quality and threw both of my cracked ones away because I didn’t even wanna deal with the company after they proved they have absolutely no quality control.

Was ok. Wick kept falling inside lighter. When I took it apart, one of the Orings snapped. Leaks now.
