Does exactly what it is meant to
I’ve bought this twice now, will likely buy a third at some point (for a third location). They fold up and seem pretty sturdy. The first one is over a year old now (probably closer to two) and I keep a pair of Marshall major III headphones on it next to my “desk” for when I have conference calls or social media type Q&A/ live streams. The second is next to my bed and folded up unless I am charging my AirPod Max headphones or was on FaceTime or something like that. It holds up to the weight of either (which are drastically different) without showing any issues of strain or anything

Built like a tank, 3M VHB adhesive doesn't mess around.
Don't normally write reviews, just legitimately very impressed, etc. etc.Alright, this thing is built old-school, by which I mean of _pure, weighty metal._ Adhesive is 3M VHB (very high bond), not knockoff stuff, and boy, it sticks. Don't adhere this to anything you don't want it to be attached to forever; just use the screws if so. I attached it to a metal monitor stand that I know I want it to be attached to forever. Do not stick this against your walls if you are in a rental apartment unless you want to lose part of your deposit, 'cos this will definitely rip your paint off trying to remove it.I think the #1 issue people are likely to have is not knowing how to properly adhere with this stuff, so here's a guide if you want to be sure. This is high quality stuff so you can probably get away with being lazy and smacking it all together at once, but I wouldn't advise it.1. Ideally, wipe both surfaces down with an alcohol wipe or microfiber cloth or something. No dust! Doesn't have to be perfect.2. Peal off the side without "3M VHB" written on it. Carefully place it on hanger. Once it is on flat, *press heavily* for at least 30sec to help the adhesive attach to the stand. Leave it alone for 30-60min if you have the time, which (let's be real) you probably do.3. Before removing the red adhesive covering on the other side, *figure out how you are going to line it up against the surface you are attaching it to.* If you are attaching it to something free-form, like a wall, you're going to want a level. You only have one shot with this, because VHB means VHB. It ain't going anywhere after you attach it.4. Measure and level twice. Close the hanger, if it's open. This5. Remove red 3M VHB lining thing. Align using the top of the stand hanger at 45 degrees in order to have a little bit of wiggle room for correction to get the angle right/level before the adhesive touches the surface.6. Firmly press against surface. HOLD FOR 45+ SECONDS. Use as much force as you can; as mentioned, this is made out of tank steel or something and will be able to take it.7. Leave it alone for at least an hour, closed. Realistically, it will continue curing probably overnight, but it'll be good enough for a headphone level of weight after an hour.8. Pull the hanger down and test by putting your headphones on the hanger.9. Enjoy -- or realize that you didn't actually level it correctly and start crying, because this adhesive will last past the heat death of the universe if you applied it correctly.I'm super happy with it. Seriously, they could've gotten away with charging a lot more for this, not that I'm complaining. Very aesthetic (true black, matte, looks great with black headphones).

Heavy Duty
I liked that this hook folds up and seems really sturdy. It would be good for adding a hook directly to a wall, table, or desk. Unfortunately, it was way too heavy for my use, and I didn't have a surface I could screw it into, so I had to return it for something more light weight. I would not trust it to be used only with adhesive - it's way heavier than expected.

No need screws
The double side tape is strong enough to hold the headphone, no need screws, foldable when not in use. Well machined

Good product overall
My goal was to find a home for our outside headphones just like the inside headsets we have are on hooks at our respective desks. I decided to go with foldable ones because I conveniently placed them around the mirror I already had in our entryway so they hold the headphones while we are home, and when we go out we just take them, fold the hook, look at yourself one last time and leave. The entryway being a little narrow, it's nice that they can fold and not be in the way when not in use. They were extremely easy to install and I appreciated that you didn't need to use screws because the adhesive provided is very strong. Living in a rental apartment, I am not trying to hang anything with screws.I took out one star because the one on the left stays folded better than the one on the right. I guess the right one is a little loose and that's why it will open back at any minor vibration in the apartment. It's not that big of a deal but since my main reason for going with this kind of hooks was that I wanted to be able to fold them I just wished they were all as reliable as the left one.

Great Headphone Hook!
This thing is built very well, has a padded headphone pad and adhered great to my desk. I did make one mistake while installing it, and I'll explain to help someone else from doing this. I installed mine on the leg of my desk to the inside facing my legs. I opened it up, and moved it all the way to the top of the leg butting up with the top of the desk and stuck it on. Hung my headphones and was very pleased, however, took my headphones off and tried to fold it up. No can do, I needed a little space between the top of the back part and the desktop which I didn't leave. The adhesive stuck so well I couldn't get it off to adjust it. Luckily I don't really ever have a reason to fold it closed so no loss here, but if you do, don't make my mistake leave a little room! Love this thing. Perfect.

The perfect addition to my console station
This is the best device to have if you purchase a nice pair of headphones for a gaming setup or console. Currently I use this device for my Turtle Beaches with my Xbox 1. My biggest concern was that the adhesive would not hold longterm and they would prefer that I use screws to mount it to the dresser it is stuck to.As of today that device has firmly held in the same location helping keep my headphones out of harms reach. Before hand the headset would be thrown around my desk and room because it didn't have a central hub. This also allowed me to have a better area to keep the device charged and ready for use.Would recommend for anyone with a nice headset they either use while gaming or using the computer!
