Extra Weave USA 5 by 8-Foot Leather Shag Rug, Buff

I've had this rug for about a week and my house still smells like leather. I'm sure that smell will eventually fade so I plan to keep it. Unfortunately, our yorkie thinks each piece is rawhide and is chewing on it so I will move it upstairs where he doesn't spend much time. Other than it seems like lots of strips are coming off, it's ok.

Well, my fault, I read the reviews and bought it anyways. When I unwrapped rug a ton of the long leather pieces fell off, when I put it down flat there were a lot of areas where I could see the padding ..bald spots especially around the edges. This could b beautiful if it was made much much better,,,No one should buy this....

I realize this is hand made. but more attention should be paid to making sure the leather is even throughout. I have an area so thin I can see the weave backing.

Badly made for the price, the pieces are all coming off of it. I waited a year before I finally worked up the courage to spend the big bucks on this item, I shouldn't have bothered. Just awful.

Not only did this rug make a total mess, but you cant even walk on it without shoes because it literally hurts your feet. I wish I had the power to return it- but I have a 5 month old and bought it from a private seller. It's awful...

Terrible workmanship! We now have two quart size zip lock bags full of the leather strips that came off our rug. Not a quality product! Save your money and buy something else!
