This far exceeded my expectations
I’m beyond impressed with this CD. It was originally released in 1973 just before they joined Fleetwood Mac. I’ve owned it on vinyl for 30+ years. I finally “bit the bullet" and ordered it. A release from Japan in what was described as a “paper sleeve”. I was worried that it would be a cheap recording from a record not well packaged. The reason I decided I had to have it was because of a live radio recording and a couple early demos. The sound is amazing, and I just dig the hell out of the packaging. A hard cardboard re-creation of the 72 album. A bi~fold cover with the song lyrics on the inside cover. (The "Polydor" label is missing from the upper right corner)While the inner fold only shows the lyrics to 9 songs ("Django" is an instrumental) there are 21 songs on this CD. A couple live recordings, a couple single edits.

Finally! After years of waiting...
I waited years to find this on CD, since I didn't want the hassle of taking my vinyl version to digital. This is heaven defined. Both artists at their absolute best in every way.

Must have for Stevie Nicks fans
Review of "Buckingham Nicks". This album was never released on CD in the U.S. so the big downside to buying is the high price and waiting for delivery from Japan. Grab one if you find an adequate deal. Thirty Eight and free shipping is what I managed. If you have all of Stevie solo and from Fleetwood Mac this is your last piece of the puzzle. All the songs are pleasant and mellow. I have the LP from its original release which is 10 tracks. CD has 11 additional bonus tracks. A side note to be aware that the "Buckingham Nicks Never Going Back Again" album is a 1975 Alabama live performance.

The Holy Grail for fans of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks!
I bought this CD for the bonus tracks. I figured the main event, the actual Buckingham/Nicks songs, would just be another conversion from a vinyl record. I expected pops and campfire crackles. The sound is PRISTINE. Now I'm no audiophile, so I can't critique it on that level. I'll just say that I didn't hear a single imperfection. As far as I can tell this came from the master tracks. The album itself, is of course a masterpiece and I'll just leave it at that. That was never in question. Now back to the bonus tracks, the reason I bought the CD in the first place. I believe these were also taken either the original tapes or direct copies. I've been looking for upgrades of these songs for many years and now I have them. For the record, they are "Sorcerer," "Garbo," "Cathouse," "That's Alright," "Candlebright," and "Without You."As if that was not enough, there were three surprises. I was not told that songs from a live set were also included. "Lola," "Races Are Run," and "Rhiannon" were the surprise encores. This is a must have for any fans of this duo!

Forgotten gem
You're either aware that this album exists or you're not - if you are, and don't already have it, you probably want it. Captures the firey duo of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks when they were young, hot, fresh, and hungry, and testing a formula that carries hints of early-70s California rock infused with a rough edge that could have just as easily seen the duo break out big into the Southern Rock scene. As it turned out they took Mick Fleetwood's offer and the rest is history. The Big Pink pressing is the real deal and worth the premium price for an item that's otherwise completely out of print and unavailable outside of the used vinyl or bootleg market. Comes in a booklet-style case with a protective sleeve for the disc and foldouts with lyrics and some Korean words. Disc contains the original 10 tracks and another eleven bonus tracks which will surely be a treat for the Buckingham/Nicks/Fleetwood Mac completist.
