Reliable and good low carb recipes, updated from her original version
I'm still working my way through this cookbook but to compare it to her original, this has some updates and modifications to ingredients based on how low carb or "keto" cooking has progressed. For example, using MCT oil and almond flour. What I found missing which was a little let down was her original chocolate chip cookie recipe (she crowned herself the low carb queen in making these, I agree) and the rye bread recipe, among other "bread" recipes. She does include "soul bread" as keto bread is largely made of egg whites and cream cheese, etc. I was pleased to see that she did include some of Jen Oloff's recipes such as tortillas. Those are very good, carb count is low and they taste as good or better than there high carb counterparts. Overall, I think this is a good update, I'm happy with it. Looking forward to her new book coming out, recipes for one-two people. I appreciate Dana's skill and expertise in developing really delicious low carb recipes and sharing them with us. Carb count, etc are clearly noted with each recipe. Great Cookbook, I highly recommend.

Not terribly original
I was a bit disappointed with this book. Not much that I couldn’t have thought of myself.

Good Cookbook
I haven't made much from this book, but there is one recipe that makes the whole book worth buying: Sloppy Joses. We make this all the time with salsa verde, and just love it. I like having a wide variety of low carb recipes.

My new favorite
I have a love/hate relationship with cookbooks. Often I get excited only to be disappointed by odd ingredients, weird items and complicated processes. Yes there are a few new ingredients in this cookbook that will become part of my new lifestyle, but they were NOT hard to find. I have made 5 recipes so far and all were easy and all yummy. There are a gazillion more in the list of first ones I want to try. Sometimes I am lucky to get 3 in a book. LOVE the peanut butter cookies! So excited to find a low carb option! Someone complained about no pictures. Yep- no pictures. But with 500 recipes this book would have gotten too large. No picture is not an issue for me. I love this cookbook and am thinking my parents may better embrace low carb options with this as a guide. If on the fence- GET IT !

Great Recipes
I wish this book had a larger print, I do wear readers, but had to dig out my magnifier glass to read the small printed recipes. I have not used it too much due to the small print.
