For unshrinking Clothing

Not worth the price!
Quite expensive for one sweater! It helped but not enough to wear again; I gave it to a pre-teen grand daughter! Maybe worth the cost if trying to restore a $100+ cashmere or a handmade sweater but not for a less expensive one.

Worth a try - gvies you back a size worth's room
I wash my sweaters on cold, HE machine/hand wash wool cycle, no spin until last rinse(low) and with expensive wool/cashmere shampoo. I dry them flat. They still shrink up sometime and even the expensive Mongolian cashmere can “pucker.” Even with this method I had a short cardi type jacket that shrank - a lot. Cheapo B. Republic wool. This restored it to a size larger than it had shrunken. But you really have to put some effort into pull/blocking them back to size. They don’t come out bigger automatically. In fact the BR sweater came out even smaller! They just come out with the wool looser and it does work better than vinegar or hair conditioner. I did this sweater ‘blazer”, another sweater. With the remaining rinse I added a little more water and threw in a dog sweater and a Christmas stocking in the remaining rinse not to resize but because I liked the looseness/fluff it restored to the wool. I also left my sweaters in much longer than the minimum 30 minutes.Note that 3 liters is roughly 12.75 cups so not a lot of solution. I used a large bowl and then when done soaking, fitted a colander to the bowl and let the sweater solution drain back into the bowl before rinsing the sweater.I may get a bottle and try it as a regular final rinse aid on my sweaters just because I like that nap it restores to them.

Now I just have a felted, shrunken sweater that stinks
I followed the directions to the T because of the previous mixed reviews. I thought perhaps the people that had good experiences did it exactly right and maybe the ones that didn't turn out so well had too much/little water, wrong temp or didn't use enough (it requires the entire bottle for one use). First of all, it stinks. It's awful. The whole downstairs of my house smelled like rotten eggs. I let it soak for the recommended amount of time. I took it out and again followed all directions regarding reshaping, laying flat, etc. First of all, I had to quarantine it to the laundry room with all doors closed to attempt to minimize stench. It's possible that it was able to make it a little bit larger than it was before but still not anywhere near original size. And there was still a lot of pilling, almost felted. Since the size wasn't appropriate anyway, I went ahead and did a gentle wash with detergent just to see if the stench actually came out even if it had worked and I'd say it did lessen it a lot but there was still enough there that I would have been too self-conscious about stinking to wear it. Sorry, this was a big fail for me even with trying to be absolutely maniacal about following the directions.Note: I used this on a Gap 100% Merino Wool Cardigan which I mistakenly sent through a wash/dry cycle.

Better off with Baby shampoo/conditioner
Didn't work as well as I had hoped. Wanted to save a cashmere sweater. This didn't do the job, so I feel that the money was not worth it . Would not purchase again. Better off with Baby shampoo/conditioner.

better than expected
this worked surprisingly well. i had hand-washed (in ice-cold water!) an almost-new wool sweater, and it had puckered/shrunk several sizes (grrrr). after using the unshrinkit, the sweater is ALMOST back to original size. the puckering is gone, and the sweater feels brand new again. i wasn't expecting anything near this successful of a result. while it didn't get my sweater back to exactly its original size, it's close enough that i would definitely recommend this.(as one reviewer noted, it DOES have a rather strong odor, but it's not the quarantineable stench that reviewer described. i think that reviewer is either extraordinarily sensitive, or is kind of a big baby.)

Worth a shot, but no guarantee
Product sort-of worked to "un-shrink" my son's beautiful Irish knit wool sweater that had accidentally gone through the wash. It made the sweater marginally bigger. Each bottle is one use. I think if I had ordered a couple of bottles, maybe I could've stretched the sweater enough to get it back to close its original size...

The smell when the product was being used and while the sweater was wet was pretty bad but I am happy to say that once ...
This product helped relax the fibers of my wool sweater to the point where it could be worn again but the fibers still look and seem a bit tight. The smell when the product was being used and while the sweater was wet was pretty bad but I am happy to say that once the sweater was completely dry, there was no smell at all. I would try this product again.

DON'T TRY THIS. Not even a hope if you care how you smell.
DOES NOT WORK. SMELLS REALLY REALLY BAD.I used this product on a gift from my wife. It's a wool sweater. I accidently put it in the dryer, and believed in those 5 star reviews.IF you don't care how you smell, purchase this trash and apply it on your favorite clothing. Give it a try. You'll only find yourself double-bagging your favorite clothing in a garbage bag. First, IT DOES NOT WORK, Second, it smells EXACTLY LIKE ROTTEN EGG.There goes my 10 dollar and favorite gift from my wife, hiding in my garage from my wife. Hope she doesn't notice it's gone..This product should not be sold. It's a scam. I see it says patent pending on its bottle, but i don't understand how. 90% sure it's a lie.Your whole house will smell like it on the day you use it, and days after. Really Hate it.Please, don't use it if you care how you smell. It will trash your clothing.By the way, I did follow all the directions. Mixed in warm water, soaked sweater for 30 min, rinsed with cold water, streched, and dried it on a dry towel. It will shrink back, and smell will stay.
