This product works great. As long as you follow the directions, making sure to activate it by rubbing it in your hands and not leaving it in too long it will work great and will not turn hair purple.

used the product as directed for a special occasion we had to attend; my hair tends to get a bit brassy in the summer so I thought I had found the perfect fix. I was shocked when I got out of the shower and my hair was purple! I got back into the shower and washed then again and they were no better. Two days later, I washed my hair with a stripping shampoo, still, no change! It took 8 days and about 13 shampooing to get the purple out. As it was fading, my hair turned an ugly grey - no pics of that, it was nasty. My friends got me to laugh at the purple, but it was not a good experience.

This is a good product only I can’t leave on more than a couple of minutes or my hair is purple it’s pretty but can’t use all the time

EXTREMELY happy with this stuff! Most toning conditioners I've tried have been lame at the toning and also haven't done too well at the actual conditioning. I use this every other day on my hair (which is naturally pretty brassy) and it leaves my hair soft and pretty well toned - especially considering it's just conditioner and not full-on toner. Totally recommended by this girl with the finicky hair.

This is a great product. It instantly strips the yellow out of blond. I Mix it with conditioner, as it is very powerful on its own. I always leaves my hair feeling soft and silky.

I have blond hair that tends to get very brassy. Bought this in hopes that it would help tone down the brassiness. That it does, however, it did so by turning my hair purple for three days. I try to use it just on my root area to avoid discoloration and that helped a little bit.
