First off, let me say the leather is of extremely high quality with a lovely color. The tanning is very well done. The pictures depict it properly in both color and texture and edging. I am VERY happy with the product. However, the dimensions in the description Listing and item size are incorrect. I only know this because I am using it on a vanity that is only 17 inches deep. The product's dimensions are listed as 24" x 16 " x 1/8", so it should have been the perfect size. It's actual dimensions are 24 1/4" x 18 1/4" x 1/8". In order to use this I am trimming off 1 1/4" along the back side to make it 24" x 17". If I were using it on a desk, I would have liked the larger size! Again, this is an amazingly beautiful piece of real leather and well worth it!UPDATE: I totally forgot to mention the leather mat is sent FLAT in a very well packaged big double box! Most companies roll something like this in a small tube box for cheaper shipping costs which gives mats a semi-permanent curve up on the edges... not RENACIENTE! They package it beautifully so you get a perfectly flat mat ready for instant use! EXCELLENT!!

This is a very nice quality leather desk mat with a great writing surface. Unlike many vendors, this company ships the mat in a flat custom box vs a rolled tube, so you don’t have issues with the ends curling up. I also like there are no side rails that just accumulate dust and debris. As I just received the mat, I cannot speak to durability, but it appears the mat is high quality and will hold up well. If you want a nice quality leather desk mat, I recommend this mat.

However nice you think this might be; your wrong... It is WAY nicer!This leather mat is absolutely beautiful. It is flat and perfect. The leather is thick and smooth and flawless. I honestly don't know how it is made so perfectly.The back side is a somewhat raw leather surface, that provides a good grip to the desk top. I use mine as a desk protector for a large laptop, with enough room to the side for an effective mouse surface.It looks extremely professional and attractive.Well done!

This is my second review. I have changed my rating to five stars. The vendor contacted me and replaced the writing pad. The only problem with the original order - - was that the size did not meet my requested order. The quality of the leather is five stars, the vendor replaced the order with the correct size.If you want a beautiful and quality writing pad this is the writing pad to order. Be sure to measure correctly - I did. I loved the writing pad, and did not want to return it. Then, I did not have a proper cutting knife, so I ruined the cutting, could not return it, as I cut it and damaged the cut. So, I am happy to have the correct size now. Highly recommend.

After noticing my original 1-star review, they contacted me, and offered a new product at no cost, which I accepted.My updated review is that the quality of the product is commensurate with its cost. I am thankful for the proactive attention.

I had two reservations when I bought these (I bought two). First, would they curl? So far go good. The other one was the writing surface. I had a couple of PU leather desk pads that served me well for a few years, but the surface was too soft and it made writing difficult. Not with these. I am not gentle with these desk pads and they are performing well to this point.

Little stiffer than I imagined, the picture shows it bending flexibly. Quality leather. Little to no smell. It's like an extra large mouse pad and I have been using it as such. Less irritation on my wrist skin compared to synthetic materials.

Using this on a desk. It is a very odd product. You really can't tell if it's real leather or not. The back has a paper-like covering and the whole product smells synthetic. It has a great thickness to it, which you don't find in leather much. And it is very stiff, which you also don't find in real leather.
