Knipex Pliers Wrenches pliers and a wrench in a single tool grey atramentized, with multi-component grips 250 mm 86 02 250

I have been put off buying these for a few years, but having changed a few polished chrome Taps, Shower mixers, and brass fittings, Rad valves stc, my usual cheapo adjustable wrench/spanner always marked the surface slightly however careful I was. i needed a change.. I have lots of Knipex tools already, and these are Top drawer! like all their other tools. The grip is like a ratio of 15:1 and clean gripping, parallel jaws, great for not just turning nuts, but gripping whilst straigtening, or holding things whilst grinding, drilling, etc, the grip is phenomenal!.. Loved them so much I bought the 125mm smaller version, loved them now gonna get the 180mm version lol.. superb, pricey but you do get what you pay for, this tool has lightened my tool bag, and increased the versatility too. Highly recommended!

I have had the task of changing the flush mechanism in a few toilet cisterns recently but only had an old fashioned wrench big enough to undo the nut between cistern and bowl. The old wrench with saerated jaws tended to damage plastic nut so went for this based on flat jaws.Within an hour of receipt It was in use and performed perfectly. Tackled the large nut with no damage, reduced in size quickly to help free stopcock.Adjusted quickly and accurately again to work on taps and shower. Saves carrying multiple sizes of wrench/ spanner

if you know what these are & what they do then you should already know they are an incredible tool to have, very nice to use, very high quality, got mine on Amazon as it was a good price.

Very good tool excellent if you want to use for varying size nuts or glands and Need a stronger hold than a shifter. Like it 👍

Thought these were a bit pricey, but figured I had 7 radiators to change so i'd treat myself. These things are amazing. So much better than adjustable pliers. You just click to the size you want (slightly smaller than the nut) then just grab it, the design results in the jaws clamping it in a parallel fashion. Will probably buy some other sizes! Where have these been all my life lol

Brilliant German Design and excellent manufacturing quality, tough, durable.. an heirloom piece...These grips are expensive.. but 'quality' is expensive!! It's also a pleasure to use and own.The Smooth jaws and levered grip make these the only tool for so many jobs. Forget serated jaws.There are about five size versions of these and all brilliantly useful in their own way.The release button can be sticky, fiddly, annoying.. but does it's job.They could also design titanium super light weight versions too.. but we'd prob. need some sort of mortgage system to afford them.. The whole set is very heavy in the tool bag. BUT very useful no other tool comes close to versitility. For example it can often replace a set of spanners.. which are heavier in the toolbag..A++
