Optimate cable O-09, adapter-extender, SAE to BIKE 180° plug

Works wonderfully to connect my Optimate Select 7 to my K1600! I usually buy a DIN plug and solder it onto my charger’s cable. But this time I took the lazy route and just bought the correct Optimate extension. Appears to be well made; very happy with the purchase.

Use the optimate adapter on BMW Motorcycle. Save yourself some grief.

Best adapter

Purchased cable so I no longer had to raise seat on my BMW K1200LT to connect battery charger. Cable fits snugly into the Hella connector on the left lower side of fairing. There is more than enough length to drape cable over seat and attach battery charger with the attached SAE connector. Cable is well made and should last for years.

Not cable fault. If you have a Battery Tender Jr charger, it doesnt work on BMW R9T. It charges for first 3 mins and then dies. Got this from BMW forum. Alas i was bit too late "I tried charging my R9T battery using a cheap battery tender with a adaptor plug into the aux socket, it wouldn't work, I tried turn on the ignition and off, it worked for 5 min then off, then I found this charger on the website TecMate OptiMate 4 Dual Program Battery Charger for BMW CANbus - RevZilla. It seems that the charger must be compatible with the can bus system, is this the right charger? Do I have to buy one from the dealer? Any one has a good suggestion, thanks " Buy OptiMAte 4 Dual rather than Battery Tender Jr + This wire Combo. Again Not this cable issue , my sheer inability to research a bit more
