Newman's OwnChicken & Liver Dinner For Dogs, Size: 12.7-Ounce (Pack of 12)

Researched many canned chicken dog foods and found this excellent product. I had been using the doggie treats by same name and my doggies love them so both. Previous canned organic chicken dog food manufacturer stopped making organic chicken and I was so afraid I'd not find another of such excellent quality and texture that my kids would love. I tasted it also and agree it is yummy. Price is more than I wanted to pay but decided to eat less myself as my kids come first.

I had read awhile ago that canned food had better quality food than dry food. Also as a kid I had a dog with cancer, so now I only feed them organic. And the nice part is, profits go to charity. So it’s win win win

There seem to be no other sources of Newman's Own Organic Chicken and Liver. My fussy dog - who has been sick - will eat this over all other expensive goodie foods and even human foods - pulled chicken etc.I am at least grateful there was a Seller who had a few cases for a halfway descent price

Dogs love it! Ive researched so many dog foods and its crazy to see what you are actually feeding your dog!!! This food is great. Its not only for a nonprofit but its great for your dog and they LOVE it. First, its organic. Second, it has a low fat, high protein compared to most foods!!!! This is close to human grade. Smells good. This is more of a paste food, not a chunk food. I put half a cup over some dry food. I still use some dry food so that the hard food cleans their teeth and gives them something to crunch. They love the wet food though. they could only eat this. they don't eat the dry food unless I put this on it. Good price for Quality. I would recommend checking your dog foods rating and see what your actually feeding your dog. A little investment in their food can help prevent a big investment at the vet later.

made my dog sick then she refused to eat it. dont know if it went bad from storage or was bad from the factory but I wont buy it again ever.

Very fast delivery on a great product

I switched to this food because it is organic, made in the USA, and benefits charities. My dog has a touchy stomach and intestines, and she seems to do better on this food than the previous one. It is more expensive, which is hard on my budget, but better that the dog be healthy.

Edit: I switch to Fromm after realizing that carageenan is not good for dogs in a long term. If this product cut carageenan out of its ingredient list, I may switch back to it again.At first, I was hesitant because of some negative reviews. After searching more, I found that every brand seems to have SOME dogs that have loose stool after eating them. I think it may be cuased by changing the food too fast or compatility of each dog to the ingredients. So I decided to give it a try.I open a can of chicken & liver flavor and found the green spots as another review mentioned. My husband who is a biologist ensure me that, looking from the pattern, the green thing in the food is not mold. It may be a piece of liver or pea flour. After 4 days of feeding my puppy this food, she is still healthy and loves eating it. (She is a picky tiny Chihuahua who won't eat a big piece of meat, so this finely grounded food is perfect for her.)The unexpected bonus is HER POOP IS SMALLER AND LESS SMELLY THAN USUAL! I think it is because of higher digestability & absorbtion of ingredients and less "undigestible filler" in the food. Now I am so happy I can feed my picky pup something good, made in USA, and inexpensive at the same time.Normally, I am a slow typer and too lazy to write a long review, but I am afraid that the negative reviews may make the sale drop, and Newman's may finally discontinue it. If you are reading until this sentence, just give it a try like I did!Update : After a week, my dog is still doing great with this food.
