I recently discovered that a deck I had had built some years ago had no side on one side (close to a fence) which I had no idea about. Damn foxes had been using it as a hide Airbnb bungalow for god knows how long. I also realised that the grass clippings we had been lobbing over a small fence behind our shed had, over the years created a delightfully soft deep mattress for skanky foxes and their families. I got this thinking having read the reviews it was a good buy and would provide a deterrent to the teenage foxes strolling in a leisurely fashion around my garden and crapping wherever they choose.Big fat noI have a 70ft garden and put it in a raised bed at the far end of the garden to catch the foxes where they enter & hang out.I discovered with the window slightly ajar in my kitchen (and actually also with it shut)I COULD HEAR the hideous squealing rackety noise whilst IN MY HOUSE!! Yet the foxes just nonchalantly strolled past it paying it zero attention at all.It was melting my brain but not bothering them in the slightest.If you are in an area with hardcore foxes with bad attitudes who tend to just stare you out when you tell them to jog on, or and crap on your washing if it stupidly dares to fall on the grass, then don’t bother with this.This week I saw that a %#^**€$ fox had kindly crapped right in the middle of my glass topped coffee table that is part of my wicker out door sofa and armchairs set.It had to walk right past the ‘scarer’ To find the table top where we serve and eat food and have drinks from, so it could carefully lay one in the middle of it.I will try to complain and get my money back and try the squirting one instead#ihatefoxes

Product no longer works despite being placed in a sunny part of the garden. The assembly of the product straight out the box reveals how shoddy it’s been made tbh so I’m not surprised that after only one month it no longer works. Motion sensor has never really worked great on this product either, despite being in an open section of the garden with busy traffic (I.e where people walk past every morning and night down the path to a from front door). I’m not happy that I spent money on this product as it doesn’t do its job.

Appear to work. We were inundated with cat poo from feral cats. We were away for five weeks and when we returned there were only 3 or 4 cat poos on the lawn. So not a bad result. Feral cats have now been rounded up by cats protection league. We still get the occasional cat in our garden so put out the animal repellent and the problem goes away.

Worked fine at first but after 4 months it's stopped working properly - now when turned on past setting 2 or greater the thing just flashes constantly until it runs out of charge, shame as it was working well beforehand. We found after a week it needed a mains charge for a few hours, so much for leaving the charging to the rechargeable batteries.

It is difficult to be sure what it is doing. Having used it for two years, the knob controlling what mode it is in does not seem to do what it should. Others say the sound it makes is annoying, so possibly it is doing its job, but difficult tot tell.

Put it up my allotment about 10 weeks ago. Seems to hold a charge with the solar panel hasn’t ran out yet. Problem is with the options dial, I have it on 2 to deter cats, and it started of emitting the usual very high pitch tone. Now when I check it, it’s more of a low rumbling noise, have tried fiddling with it, but am unsure of its effectiveness.

Bought this in JULY LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OLD STOPPED WORKING MADE A HUMMING NOISE STILL HAD BIRDS SQUIRRELS AND CATS IN GARDEN TRIED ON ALL SETTINGSA WASTE OF MONEY

I purchased 4 of these to act as fox repellers for hens. Initially the repellers worked well, but within 6 months of purchase 3 of the 4 had ceased working. This was due to rain was leaking into the electronic unit, it is a pity as I originally thought they were the best repellers I had used.
