Worth it for the price
I had to remove the cover over the plastic fins so I can kick start it. Once it starts up it's pulls right into a proper vacuum just as it should. Usually let it run for another 10-15 mins (or once the pump starts to get warm). The chamber holds vacuum just fine. Itll sit a week sometimes and I come back to it and it's still holding. My end product is where I want it so I'm not upset I will continue to use it until the pump fails or I find one on sale at the supply house one day.

me. For the $ its ok.
Had to remover rear pump cover and Kickstart motor because it only buzzed.Acrylic lid covered in micro cracks after only one use.

Worst pump on the market!
The kit came tipped with all of the pump oil everywhere in the package so I had to find oil locally to replace it. First use with new oil and the pump ran for a few hours than seized. The kit did not come with hose clamps which are necessary as the hose it comes with is loose fitting. All around a junk buy and would rather spend $10 more and bought a better brand.
