Because I know the reasons I use this, I believe it functions as intended. Natto from Japan has shown results for lessening certain blood clotting functions. I believe after using this and product, it has passed scrutiny and will likely continue its use.

I use this product as a blood thinner, even though when a blood test is done, my blood only comes up to a 1.3 range and thin blood according to Dr's is supposed to be in a range of 2 to 3. Look it up on Google and read all the articles including from studies done by prominent medical institutions. The Japanese people have been eating Natto , a cheese like substance made from fermented soy beans for thousands of years and they do not have the same health problems we have in the USA, especially heart disease.

The marketing info for this nattokinase supplement seems to imply that they include some of the vitamin K naturally found in natto. Also, the effect it has on me (calf cramps at night if taken in the evening), is the same as for vitamin K. Vitamin K is great if you know enough about it, but for people on blood thinners like Warfarin, it could contribute to deadly clotting (strokes, heart attacks). Surgeons also tell people not to take it before scheduled operations. So this company really needs to make it clear and obvious if it does have vitamin K, preferably specifying approximately how much. Then I could give it 5 stars.

I’ve been looking for natural remedies as opposed to prescriptions for some health issues. Heart disease runs in my family and have tried different things to help manage my blood pressure. This product after taking it a couple weeks helped lowering it 40 points. I’m hoping more people realize there are so many alternative options for prescriptions out there. I hope this was a help!
