JCJENTERPR M-300 Mud Dauber Screen for RV Furnace Outside Fitting

Was difficult to get the spring on the inside of the mesh dome, then the rest was relatively easy.

Fit perfectly for the exhaust of the furnace on my 2016 Kodiak Ultra-lite. Will definitely keep and insects from making a nest inside the furnace, and potentially destroying any of the working parts. With that said, the screen is a little pricey, but will definitely save you money in the future with repairs because of insects. It's a good investment. It took about one minute to install. They include the tool you need to attach the spring which holds it in place. Seems sturdy, and well made. I really only needed one screen.... Only one furnace, as with most campers. But, definitely saving the other screen if I need it in the future. Also, save the tool! They only give you one tool.

I liked the outside furnace screens that I ordered primarily because it was a recommended as a easy preventative measure for keeping insects/rodents from gaining access into the RV. The Cost was reasonable compared to in the event an animal or insect were to damage the furnace. The installation was an easy 30 second install, and the material the item was made of is solid and does not give the appearance of inferior material structure. It’s solid. I would recommend this to any RV owner as the costs as well as the install were the easiest thing I have done to our RV.

Perfect fit and 5 minute install. they hold on to the existing exhaust holes with a little spring. A small push stick is included that works like this:1. Hook one end of a spring to the near center of the screen.2. Push the stick tool though the screening and put the other end off the spring into the slot at the end of the stick.3. Now position everything over the open furnace hole and using the push stick...extend the spring until it catches on the exhaust cover.The spring holds the screen tighty in place going down the road. Save the stick in case you need to remove one day!Recommended and would buy again.

Looks like a quality screen however as usual the package was open and the tool to put the springs in was missing. I’m having problems with Amazon every time I get an order that parts are missing or somebody has used it. If it wasn’t that I bought another screen with the tool I would be up the creek with no paddle putting the springs in this my dauber rv Screen

Easy to install durability

The product does as it is meant to do. Prevents insects from gumming up your furnace. It can be a little hard to get on. I ended up finding a Youtube video to help me as the instructions were very limited. For that reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars.

Perfect for for my Suburban brand RV furnace with two round ports. Excellent quality and perfect fit. Installation tip: Use needle nose pliers to slightly straighten the hook end just a bit to get them to hook into the screen and then bend the hook back rounded again just before using the special tool (included) to install them.
