Gold Lion EL84 Power Tubes - Matched Duet

I know these tubes and I've always had good luck with them.They are in the breakin hours now and sound great already.

Using these EL84s on a single ended system. Pushing no more than 3w per channel. Good bass, fast, moderate decay. Midrange is clear, it is mid-forward, good clear highs without any rolloffs. Would suggest paying the money to get the quality.

Replaced a couple of JJ’s with these in my 65 London and they sound amazing! I could not be happier. Warm and chimey like you want them to be.

I always toss out a review that gives it one star but doesn’t add an explanation as to why it’s only one star. So forget that person’s review.These tubes are amazing! I am a tone nerd and swap around tubes looking for that elusive tone. I replaced the stock Mesa brand EL84’s with these Gold Lions. It was a huge difference in tone. The amp head I put these in is a Mesa Rectoverb 25-watt. These tubes had a massive amount of warmth and tone. Much better than the stock tubes. Cleans are clear and warm. I use the clean channel with pedals. The Abasi Pathos pedal is perfect for progressive metal tones with these power tubes. Don’t let anyone tell you that power tubes have no effect on tone. They are wrong and these tubes are proof of that.You won’t have any buyer’s remorse. Highly recommended tubes.
