If you are looking for a bold, bright marker then these are not for you. The different colors are great and they erase perfectly. But I just had hoped they were brighter. They are light color and very fine point but the ink resembles more of a colored pencil tone rather than a marker. They are worth the money if you plan on using them for writing or simple drawings, but you may want to consider something different for coloring large pictures. Overall a nice product though.

These are lovely pens and fun to use. The colors aren't as bold as gel pens but they do dry quickly so smudges aren't an issue. I'm enjoying them!They erase pretty well with the 'eraser' cap. It's not actually an eraser - the ink fades from heat/friction, i.e. the name, FriXion.I put a page I'd written on with these pens through a laminator and it came out blank...that was a surprise as I didn't realize just heat alone erased. I didn't keep the package they came in, reading online, it is supposed to have a warning to not use on important documents or checks because of this. I've not tested it yet, but I'm thinking an iron or other heat source(non climate controlled storage?) would also fade or remove the ink marks.

So I love the technology, the color choices and the glossy casing, but the ink flow is disappointing. The ink laydown feels like old, used grade-school markers, the tip feels like it dries out a couple seconds after you start drawing a line, and the color is faded, not at all like a magic marker should be.You can double up on drawing the line, but in the end these aren't very compelling.Did I get a bad batch?

Awesome pens. I was surprised that they write more like a fine felt tip marker than an inkpen. Erases clean and doesn't smudge.
