Been using to sleep for several years now. You forget your wearing it. With bending progressively becoming more difficult, at some point it will become to difficult to put on. A version using velcro would solve that future problem. All existing knee pads with velcro are too bulky and firm for sleeping - made for kneeling.

This product is wonderful. While using it I slept better than I have for a while. It really helps align your back.

Didn't work for me as the pillow is a little stiff. My knee was still hurting during sleep but better than nothing

I was having severe nightly knee pain from my knees contacting each other as I slept on my side (osteoarthritis). I was surprised such an item as this existed, so when I found it I decided it might work better than my pillow that was always moving out of place when I turned over. It has been a godsend. Most nights it completely protects me from any pain, allowing me to sleep soundly. Anyway, I highly recommend this to ANYONE suffering from nightime knee pain from bone on bone pressure. It's also machine washable. I hang mine to dry, because I don't own a dryer, but I'm sure it could handle a tumble. It has stretched out a bit above the knee over a month's use, but hasn't affected the performance, only its appearance. It is lightweight and scarcely noticeable as you rest or sleep.

I should have listened to the reviews. Material is rough and scratchy. Not appropriate for someone who is bed-bound with fragile skin.
