I struggled for hours to register these devices on my BT Whole House WiFi network, but failed. The network has both 2.4 and 5 GHz capability, but the plugs refused to connect. I have registered Amazon smart plugs on this network before without difficulty, but I couldn't get these to work. However, they worked on my BT Home Hub network, which is OK, but doesn't have the range of the Whole House network. I have no clear idea why this is. If anyone can provide an answer or, preferably, a solution, I'd be delighted to hear about it.Anyway, once working they seem to be very good. I haven't tried them in anger, but so far so good, as long as they stay within a reasonable distance of the router. Works well with Alexa, but remember to enable the appropriate skill.UPDATE: tried again to register them on the BT Whole House WiFi network and this time it worked!! I'm not sure why, but who cares? Now I can use them anywhere in the house. Five Stars!!

I spotted a QR code on the instructions so I scanned it. The QR code took me to a website which then launched the app store for the correct app. once registered on the app I switched on the socket to add it to my network.It installed really quickly and I was given the option to set a location for the device and rename it. I have linked this with my Alexa and i have names each smart plug making my room partially automated. I can now control my TV and lamp from my phone, set timers and program scenes.The devices use your Wi-Fi signals, so you can place the devices anywhere there is Wi-Fi coverage in your home or office. They seem to respond well even in very weak areas. If you want to use the plug in "non-smart" mode, you can simply press the button on the side.Overall, these units work well and I'm very pleased with them.

Tricky to set up once set up easy to use both with both app and alexa

Awesome product once you get it connected to the app.I found I had to deactivate the 5GHz Wi-fi on my router so only the 2.4GHz frequency was active during setup. All worked fine then and could re-enable the 5GHz frequency after setup.I’m really happy with the product and the app and will be buying more of these in the future.

Easy to install, in theory, if your network has the right frequency. Mine had to be returned.

Very easy set up, scan the Qi code, install the app, connect. Easy! Works well with the amazon Alexa app. One thing to bear in mind, some switches on sockets can foul the plug

Great. Works perfect with my google home and also with Siri on my phone once configured with Siri Shortcuts. Makes turning my sons lamp off a lot easier without having to creep in there in do it!
