Solid replacement brake hose
I like to swap my brake hoses on my bikes to motorcycle style and needed to replace the stock line.This worked perfectly.

Worked fine despite some bad reviews
Saw some horrible reviews about this but rolled the dice anyway because it's less than half the price of Shimano housing. I'm a few hundred miles in on using this and it did not spontaneously combust like some here might lead you to believe. Time will tell but it has given me plenty of confidence thus far. What else can I say? It works

Failed on second ride - hose failure - cracked and leaked
I originally posted a great review for this brake hose. I was very happy with the install and it appeared to be a decent product, but after my second ride, it FAILED. the hose cracked in the middle between where it exits my frame and enters the rear triangle. My bike is a Felt - Virtue Nine 1 - Carbon fiber frame and everything is internally routed, so this is a pain to replace. The crack is where the hose needs just a slight amount of flex, like any rear brake hose needs on a full-suspension bike. I'm glad I saw the leak before my 3rd ride or I may not have lived to edit my review. I had bought 2 of these. One as a spare to replace my front hose later. Now I'm returning these and buying Shimano hoses.

Worked great on my 4 piston LX brakes
Would have preferred the shimano hose but this was way cheaper

Needed a hose ASAP
I work in a bike shop but needed this one like NOW. Not as “flexible” as the Shimano brake lines but still quality stuff. The barbs and olives included work flawlessly and the bleed was super easy. 10 rides into it and no issues at all.

Not as rigid as shimano hoses
This does fit shinsno brakes, but the hose material is not as rigid and has significantly more flex than shimano hoses, resulting in squishy feeling brakes and slightly less response. You can see the hose flex and expand whenever the brakes are actuated. Functional but not the best.

Perfect fit, excellent value!!
Product worked great on my SLX brake and at almost half the cost of the Shimano. Plenty of line available and my kit came packaged with two olives and two barb inserts for the lever end. Was delivered as expected on time and complete!
