HOT! Alternanthera Lilacina Bunch BUY2GET1 Freshwater Live Aquarium Plant Red Stems

I ordered 3 of these. Lost one early on, probably due to lighting. I bought a new light and the remaining plants are doing great. I've separated them a couple times and now have 5 groups of the plant going and they are doing great.

I’ve never received an aquatic plant in worse condition. These are in such bad shape it’s not worth trying to save them. The photo was taken right after they were delivered.

I can’t recommend this seller enough and will absolutely be purchasing from them again. The plants are still small, but I’m excited to watch them thrive and grow into beautiful additions to my tank. I also discovered a few tiny hitchhiker snails among the plants. They’re cute and, although I’m unsure of their species at the moment, I’m happy to keep them in my tank for now. I’ve attached a picture of one of these little snails—capturing their charm was a bit tricky since they’re so tiny! Plus, I've included a short video showcasing the plants in my aquarium. I’m hopeful those snails will end up being friendly! Overall, this was an exceptional purchase, and I couldn't be happier!

Arrived alive with some fine roots but does not look at all like the robust bunches in the seller’s photos. (See photo) The bunch was a bit scrawny and there were no weights. You’ll need to add weight to hold them down. The roots are very delicate.??I have a CO2 setup but I give this guy about 50% chance of surviving the next week. I’ll update. UPDATE: Still alive two weeks later. Slow grower but doing ok.

I didn’t have high expectations from the reviews but it was on sale for cheap so I figured I would try it for a pop of color. I will say color has definitely faded, but I also don’t have Co2 so it might just be because of that. None of the leaves have melted so far and it’s seems to be doing good. Nice pop of color for the tank and I feel like it was worth the 7 or 8 dollars I paid for it. If you aren’t expecting too much, I think it’s a good deal and good plant

This seller should be ashamed of themselves. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star! The plant itself is sooooo tiny! Maybe 3 inches max! And there was only a few little stems in each “bundle”. They were so fragile that when I tried to carefully put them down into my substrate, they just crumbled. I could only salvage a couple small stems that were not broken, it’s been a week, and the leaves are just melting off! And there was none of them that were actually rooting. 🤦🏼‍♀️ they did give me a free bundle cause I bought 2, so I got 3 total. But let me tell you, totally not even worth it. They just ended up making my tank dirty, so I threw them out. Horrible 🤦🏼‍♀️ they say you can’t return them, but I contacted Amazon and got a refund. They were a pretty pink color, but they give you the tiniest little baby stems that don’t even have roots! Disgusted with these people. What a waste.

Plants arrived healthy and happy. Our cichlids like to eat the red plants so this time we put them in the goldfish pond

Continually floated to the top. Fell apart. The small bits that were salvageable were planted. A week later, the leaves are “dissolving”, falling off, or are wilted. 😞 I was so excited about this plant, only to be disappointed.
