Best cookbook
I bought this cookbook for me and my toddler as she LOVES to help in the kitchen. It's super kid-friendly and has a lot of really great HEALTHY recipes. It's honestly my favorite cookbook because the whole book is so unique and the recipes are well thought out. This is an exciting book for kids, and a great way to turn off electronics and have some fun. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Good
I love this, these are fairly decent recipes for kids cooking. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish you could review what recipes the book offers before buying. Most of them are recipes my son is not interested in.

Good
1) Fruit rollups needed to be cooked at 160 or 170, not 200 degrees, or for 3 and a half hours, not 4 hours. We used 2 large bananas for ours. They were overcooked and crispy 3 minutes before the 4 hour mark. Like chips.2) Pretzels were hard to shape, but tasty. Husband didn't like the added mustard in the cheese dip.3) Blueberry Blast Banana Bread turned out a little too dark and thick on the crust. Not very sweet, but edible.4) The Bunny Pancakes were a little thick at the 1/4 cup recommendation, otherwise fine.5) Turkey Sliders were delicious, hard to make the ground turkey stick together in a patty shape, but so tasty.6) Magic Wands (chicken skewers) were delicious7) Burrito Boats (zucchini boats) were fantastic.8) Smashed Smiley Face Guacamole was good.9) Broccoli Cheese Nuggets were overcooked (again see cooking time issues)10) Rainbow Pinwheels were good, use a nice thick layer of cream cheese on the entire wrap.11) Butterfly Quesadillas were good, but again 5 mins on medium in the skillet was too long. 3 mins was plenty for us on the new electric Kenmore glass top on a level 4 on the dual burner.12) Sunshine Soup (butternut squash soup) was really good even 4 days later, could have done without the cumin. Heavy whipping cream added (as my mom does) makes it wonderful. Don't season the croutons with garlic or it will overpower the soup.Overall the book is good, with little diary-type spaces in the margins for notes. Instructions are written plainly and in a simple format for young kids. The recipe names are all cute and appealing.Almost all the recipes we have tried seemed to need a little less cooking time, so watch the item even 15 mins before the time is up.Some recipes may not taste good to younger kids (guacamole, squash soup, zucchini boats), but they are learning to cook and that's the point. We also bought the Kid Chef Foodie Kids cookbook and I recommend that for ages 10 and up.

Great for learning how to cook with mom or dad and solo
I bought this book as a gift for my daughter for Christmas because she has been interested in cooking. I am not a very good cook, so I sought help from this cookbook. I'm so glad I did! We read through the intro tonight and I really enjoyed how it is all kid-inspired, and teaches the importance of cleanliness and safety above all else which are the essential building blocks of a disciplined little chef! She has already picked out the blueberry banana bread to make and I'm excited to watch her learn and maneuver around the kitchen with this book as her guide :) Definitely recommend!

Great innovation
Xmas gift for my autistic teen granddaughter who's interested in cups and measurements and cooking. Book is laid out well with clear instructions and recipes are varied and look appealing. Hope she and her mom can do this together to cook and also as a reading challenge.

Let’s get cooking!
This was a great purchase for my 6 year old niece. Directions were clear and concise yet written in a child friendly format. The step-by-step progression of the cooking process was well written and explained.. Illustrations and photos were visually appealing- based upon comments such as “that looks yummy!”. We’re looking forward to trying these recipes out with the help of this book and I would definitely recommend you consider purchasing this cookbook.

Easy and fun
My 5-year-old is not big I’m cooking, and this was great because we could pick out the dish from pictures and make it no problem (no complicated ingredients)

Awesome kid cookbook!!
My little chef loved the amazing recipes. Recipes like a simple festive Easy Peas-y Mac and Cheesy to Magic Unicorn Toast! It is definitely for ages 4 and up due to understanding the recipes, although they are simple. On the sides of the book it shows the prep and cook time, how many servings, and whether it is dairy gluten or nut free!! Your child can also notate the date they made a recipe, how it tasted, who helped and they get to learn some definitions used in cooking ( marinade, simmer, mince, savory) I would definitely recommend this as a first recipe book!!

Beware, American measurements
Cups, fahrenheit and ounces. Cups. CUPS! The most inaccurate measurement ever devised. Don't americans have scales?? I bought this book after a quick scan of the positive reviews, not noticing they were all from across the pond. Some nice recipes, and a good book format, but hard to recommend given the localisation issues.
