A Very Very Very Dark Matter (Faber Drama)

While the dialogue was well written, the story itself came off as trying too hard to be weird for the sake of wierd. I like the playwright's other work and I like surreal theater and dark theater, but this was not a good example of either

martin mcdonagh always knocks it out of the park

Saw this show at The Bridge in London last November. Very happy to see it available for purchase in the US. Product was in good shape and matched exactly with what I expected.

Deadly funny.

The most complex, disturbing, and funny thing McDonagh's written in years. It's as strong as if not stronger than his earlier works. Absolutely gonzo. I hope it comes to the US soon. Three Billboards got a ton of attention last year, but this stayed with me and had a far greater impact and resonance.
