One of the best
This screwdriver can go down as one of the best screwdrivers I’ve ever owned it is a bit more than your normal Philips screwdriver but the quality you get is well worth it. It has no trouble gripping the screw heads and the grip feels very ergonomic for me. It’s strong and durable and the magnetic hold on the screws is also great. I would recommend based on my experiences.

One of the most comfortable and high tech screwdrivers I have ever purchased!
I have never owned such a high quality, high tech screwdriver than this Wera. The handle is very well researched and designed, being based on someone squeezing a playdoh type material with their hand. It literally fills your hand like it was molded just for you and it has a good mix of solid plastic (the black) and rubber (the green), so that you can properly grip it. The shaft is solid without wobble and has good steel. The tip is both magnetic and laser etched, the latter of which grips screws with microscopic teeth in the metal caused by the laser etching. These teeth literally grab onto the screw, allowing the screwdriver to hold itself in-place horizontally without you even touching it, it's amazing technology. These green and black handled Wera screwdrivers are not meant for hammering, so only use them for driving. Their black and yellow drivers are meant to be hammered/chiseled with. This screwdriver is made in Czech Republic.I recommend this screwdriver 100%, it is outstanding.

Best drivers hands down. Great features, no gimmicks.
Great driver. I bought this to test out the Wera drivers I have heard about, and to see if I wanted a full set. I didnt realize that the 8" blade was just the metal part of the driver sticking out of the handle, I thought the 8" was the overall length. So keep that in mind when ordering. The grip on it is AMAZING. There are 3 different grip zones when using it. For breaking loose a screw, or doing final tightening, you can grip the whole handle and have lots of grip with some nice leverage. For free spinning or very light loads, you can just grip the end of it, and spin it quickly. Or for the in between jobs, you can grip half the handle have decent speed, while not having to regrasp every turn like when you grab the full handle. It may sound like not that big of deal, but in real world applications it really is useful Keeps my hand from cramping after lots of use, since you are gripping the handle differently and using different muscles while using. The Laser Tip, IMHO, is a real nice feature. It adds lots of traction, and helps prevent cam-out. In the pictures, they grooves spiral to the right, while all the drivers I have spiral to the left. Not sure if it matters, but it looks like it will help pull in the driver even more when loosening a screw, rather than while tightening like the in the pictures. Which is what I would rather have, as when you are loosening a tight/rusted screw, you only get one chance to remove it.The fit and finish on the tip, and possibly helped by the Laser Tip, allows you to do some stupid human tricks. I like to show this driver off, and will put it into a phillips screw on my deadbolt lock on my door, and the whole 12" of this driver will hold itself perfectly horizontal with just the tip. And I can even pull on the driver to open the door, thats how much grip these tips have. Needless to say, shortly after I bought this, I bought myself a full set of insulated drivers, with phillips, flat, and square. The only thing I have heard bad about these, is that the softer rubber inlays, the light green on this set, will start to rot if you get grease or oil on it. Since I do a lot of remodeling and construction, I have not worries and have not had any problems. But I would be careful if using them for automotive, and would possibly buy a different brand if that was my profession.

High quality and perfect for my in home projects
I don't do a lot of handy work, but I can screw in a screw if the tip is not worn down as was the case with the ones in my toolbox. Not having to replace my screwdrivers in many many years, I was ecstatic to find a high quality screwdriver at a reasonable price. There were options that were cheaper but not as well made nor did they seem that they would last very long. Most importantly, the Wera brand came highly recommended to me by several friends who are handymen by trade. I was not disappointed in the least.UPDATE: For some reason Amazon marked this screwdriver as being returned when I still have it in my toolbox, and customer service refuses to note what actually happened ... that I returned the more expensive Wera Phillips Screwdriver, PH3 Head, 6" blade ... thus cheating me out of the money I paid for the PH3 item $19.02! The only reason I returned that one was because it was too big for my needs around the house and not because of any defect or problem with the actual product. Be careful when buying similar items from Amazon because you will not be able to get the right amount of your money back if they mess up like that have here no matter how many times you contact customer service like I have been doing for days. Can't even keep a record of the live chats or phone calls because Amazon does not provide them to customers like other reputable companies do.

I love these. Hand shaped design helps you grip them well and they grip fasteners even better. No more Craftsman for me.
I cannot say enough good things about Wera screwdrivers. Not only that, I love the long phillips screwdrivers. I always grab the longest one that will work. (not sure why) If you are using hard handle Craftsman screwdrivers, do yourself a favor and get a set of Wera (prounounced VERA) to replace them with. You won't be reaching for Craftsman anymore. Some of the Wera screwdrivers have laser etched tips. (I don't think this one does...I couldn't find the long ones with laser etching anywhere) Those are amazing to work with. The laser etching is really deep and is unlikely to wear off anytime soon. (again, this particular screwdriver doesn't have laser etching)The handle is shaped to fit a human hand. They are green and beautiful and made in German. I like the round shaft on those. I love the handle and the grip that they get on a fastener. (though the laser etched ones even grip a little better)
