I use these glassine sheets behind my watercolor paintings to protect them from the acidic backing of the frame. Can also be used for framed photos.

I had a project to send to my school to be graded and was nervous with using this paper to protect my pastel drawings from smearing. I don’t use fixant sprays they are known to ruin your work. So far it has done its job. No smearing I was told by the instructor that graded my work. Yayyyyyyy

I do a lot of fine art printing and need to protect the prints. I bought these really thinking they were like other protective sheets I have but they are more of a waxy surface. I am sure they work fine but just not what I am looking for.

These glassine sheets are packaged folded. I was surprised. I needed to use them for transporting pastel art. I ironed the sheets, which helped to flatten the folds. It worked out OK. I would have preferred not to have folds in the glassine and will try to get glassine in the future that is rolled rather than folded.

Just wish they could fold it in a way that didn't cause it to crease. You cannot remove creases in glassine. Other than that, I love that special crinkly sound.

The sheets came folded at a quarter of the actual size which scared me at first, but they folded out to the correct size. These are as described and I use them to protect pastels from smearing as I move them to get framed.

I bought these to use as protection for pastel paintings. It keeps the pastels from smudging if I’m working above an area that’s already been worked on, and also when storing or mailing them.

I only needed a few large sheets of this paper to ship some artwork. I was happy to find this selection of paper instead of the giant rolls it's usually sold in. The only think that bothered me were the creases, but I laid the sheets out and weighted them down for a few days and that helped!
