This is a beautiful product. We are planning to use it as a cake stand for our wedding, but I wanted something that I could also use in home decor afterward and this fits the bill! I like that there are small feet almost on the bottom as it makes sure it doesnt slide and gives it a little extra raise. Keep in mind it is pretty true to size but with the variations in the actual trunk it's not exactly 13" all around. On mine, theres no area less than 12" and some spots are closer to 14". I was going for a rustic look though which I think the irregular diameter is more suited to.

Perfect cake stand for our son and daughter-in-laws recent fall wedding. Beautiful, thick round circle for a fraction of the price I found elsewhere. Bark stays on, wood was nice and level and loved the 3 tiny rubber feet at the bottom to keep it from sliding. Our piece only had a few inches of darker wood in the center rings, which I preferred. I will find many uses for it in the future if the bride and groom don’t keep it.

This is such a beautiful piece of wood!!! Very rustic and exactly what I was looking for to use as a stand for my daughter’s engagement cake. It even has little feet on the bottom! If you are unsure, go ahead and buy this, you will not be disappointed!! I also want to add that I honestly don’t write reviews but rely heavily on other reviews before I buy anything.

I have yet to use it. I bought this for my Wedding in September. But what struck me and my fiance' is the weight of it. When we took it to the place where that is making the cake it looked beautiful and will be complementary. I will try to post pictures later this year.
