I got an ad on social media for a beard straightener that was $40. Checked Amazon and as usual that exact item (same visual design and specs in every way) was available from many different sellers under different names for much less, so I bought one, and this is it.You can tell it's cheaply made as soon as you see it, but who cares if it works, right? Well, the plastic is poorly molded with many sharp burrs, especially on the comb, so when using the item the burrs catch and tangle in your hairs. If you know anything about hair care, you know that cheap plastic combs with burrs actually damage your hair and cause split ends, and it's the same with this straightener.Also, it's important that a beard straightener get warm enough to have an effect on tough beard hairs but not so warm that it burns them. This one seems to fall into the first camp-I let it heat up for several minutes and after using it I can't see any change in hair texture.It's a no from me, dawg.
