Photography as a hobby or business is expensive. My goal with this purchase was to save where I can and still get professional results. I decided light modifiers was a safe place to save on equipment.I received purchase promptly. On first unboxing quality is good. While I don't have professional equipment to compare, I'm pretty critical and the construction doesn't worry me right out the box. It feels like any umbrella I've used previously (Westcott) and it's definitely large as described. If you're new to this, you definitely want to use a sand bag outdoors.I'm comfortable with this purchase as a tool in my photography arsenal! :)We'll see how it holds up over a short period. If I don't update in 3 months you'll know this product held up its short term end of the bargain. Its June 24, 2013. Good luck on your purchase.

Although it ripped on second shoot, the quality of light is very good. The rib broke through the end/edge where it meets the material. If it was built better, I would purchase more.

I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to attach the pole to the umbrella - until I realised that I think this arrived broken! Really disappointed. Could the seller please get in contact with me directly on how I return this/get a refund. Thanks!

This umbrella is well made using fiberglass rods instead of metal giving it durability to include the reflective material. You will not be disappointed with the quality for the price and 60" is the perfect size for location shooting as needed.

This is a great umbrella. It is very sturdy. Kind of heavy. I love it. Great product for the price. I am very happy.
