ACCO Paper Fasteners, 2-Piece, 1 Box, 50 Fasteners/Box (12995)

These work perfectly. I have to read a lot of research from dissertations, long articles, etc., and these prong fasteners bind books well. It even binds 300 pages perfectly. These are for 8 1/2 sized paper.

We've been using ACCO fasteners to cheaply bind copied manuals and specs for years. They work great, hold documents securely, and can be used with covers if your document needs more body. These are a cheap alternative to a ring binder.

I can't remember who introduced these to me a page binders way back in the '90s, but I was so pleased to use them again on a huge project recently. The project was the creation of 50 songbooks, 40 pages each. These are far less expensive than the curly vinyl binders, with adjustable width, plus they lay flat so that less storage space is needed. These are my only "go-to" for binders!

When I came across this fastener, I was looking for a way to bind loose leaf textbooks so that they could essentially be transformed into paperback textbooks with a metal fastener binding. I was a bit hesitant when I bought these, because the product picture doesn't look big enough to fit onto a textbook, but they do! One fastener fits the long edge of a loose leaf textbook (8 1/2 x 11 in).They were very simple and easy to install, and now I no longer have to carry around bulky binders in my backpack anymore, which is a big plus for me! So if you're looking for something to turn your stacks of paper into manageable books, this is for you.

As an independent writer, copying my manuscripts, at the copy center, for my editor was become prohibitive in price. Years ago, I used a black inkjet printer, printed the back half of the book on the right-hand page, flipped the printed pages over and printed the first half. There were no automatic printers back then. If there were they were way too expensive. Any way, I printed everything on 3-hole paper because I was too lazy to punch holes. Then, I bound the pages with these hand fasteners. As prices continue to climb, it is time to return to "old school" for draft copies. These fasteners are perfect!!!!

These are fantastic whether there's an Amazon Warehouse deal or not! They run along the inside edge of a manila folder, and the holes align with the two outer holes of a three hole punch. I decided to try these since I already owned a three hole punch. They work beautifully, and I didn't have to purchase a two hole punch! (To reiterate, side load, not top load for files). LOVE THEM!

These extra long Acco Fasteners help me save my notes for my Bible Studies. Have been looking for then for a long time. So pleased to find on Amazon.

these fastners are excellent. If you have 3 ring binders that have documents you don't want to lose but you need to store the documents then get these. I use a letter size file folder then three hole punch on the bendable side. I cut down that seem of the folder and then used this product to bind it together. You can use them for school presentations and so on.

Not sure why Acco stopped selling this product through Supreme Basics (Dye & Durham), or Supreme stopped carrying the brand, because it is required when filing Continuing and Endorsement Records with the Superior Courts. I guess it was helpful to be able to purchase the brads through this venue.
