Chicago P.D.: Season Six [DVD]

I was disappointed having to pay for season 6, however my addiction to Chicago PD is real so this purchase was worth every penny. ❤️Hank Voight and the entire Intelligence Crew Family is the main reason I’m in love of this show. The writers are awesome! Every episode is packed with action and or suspense.

Amazon does alot of this right, but I feel that their streaming cost is a bit much. Other providers like Netflix and Hulu you get several current and older TV shows for free and this would allow you to catch up on a show you have been to bust to watch and forgot to DVR or a show you stumbled upon and liked it.. SO what do you do, you start from the beginning. I spent alot of money getting caught up on this series as every single show cost money. This was very disappointing especially when you think of the money many of use spend at Amazon daily, weekly, monthly and yearly!

I wasn't sure after years of watching Law & Order SVU if this show was better or not.. I've finally come to the conclusion it is.. The plots are so good and intriguing and deeeeeeppp... Voight Makes the Show!! I could do without the precarious sex scenes and relationships with co-workers and strangers.. beside that.. AMAZING SHOW.. MUST WATCH!! Not your regular crime show..

I decided to order season six of Chicago P.D. on DVD because it was more economical that purchasing the digital version of the season. It arrived according to plan, but was missing most of the discs. The case was sealed in cellophane, so I do not believe it was a used product that Amazon tried to pass off on me. On the inside of the case, there is a hinge where the extra compartment sits in the middle housing the other discs. This case only had disc 1 and 6 (first and last of the season). Amazon is shipping me a replacement and I will update the review if it arrives as expected.

This show continues to spark interest from every angle for which it is created. From the narrative, character development, action, and even drama it continues to spark interest and bring forth a one of a kind show. This show is a must-watch for anyone that likes action-packed great storytelling.

Discovered we missed an episode of Chicago PD and ordered for the 1st time from Amazon. Couldn't log in with same password that I'm logged in on to write this. Used alternative method to get authorization "code" going to PC logged into amazon & got Tivo Roamio authorized, bought episode, and it started playing. Late by this time so moved into bedroom where there is a Tivo Mini, only to discover the episode isn't downloaded and added to My Shows", I had to also authorize that Tivo device separately and buy the episode a 2nd time. Started playing from the beginning and could not seek to where we left off, "spinner" circle half drawn and permanently on the screen though. After a few minutes it began freezing, came back steady, then froze completely. Waited a few minutes but no go, so hit back button to go watch something else. Discovered the whole Mini was now frozen up; no button, back, Home, etc., was functional. Won't go this route again.

I love all three of the Chicago series. I love when they overlap telling one big story

Chicago's 21st District, there gunfire more likely than birdsong. The Season 5 death of a Unit stalwart has cast a long shadow - emotions high, colleagues in danger of drifting apart. Hank Voight needs all his skills to maintain control. Even so, several members of his team develop maverick aspects - questionable decisions made with alarming consequences.Nevertheless, the team continues to impress with its clear-up rate (methods questionable when deemed necessary). Among those satisfyingly destined for jail (or death) are ruthless drug suppliers, gunrunners, serial killers, people traffickers, gangsters, arsonists.Arguably more disturbing is evidence of corruption on high, Voight and his team pawns in a power game between two formidable candidates for mayor. The Unit's whole future could depend on the outcome.22 edgy episodes. 2 crossovers. Taut scripts. Tense performances. Some may feel all has become too unrelenting - key characters here (desk sergeant Trudy excepted) harder to care for than those of CHICAGO FIRE & MED. Has CHICAGO PD become just another cop series, admittedly doing well enough what it sets out to do?Having said that, the revelation in the season's last few seconds greatly intrigues....

I don't dislike the show however my package arrived with the plastic casing all broken. As it was too bad to repair I had to change the casing. When I came to finally watch the discs I would say i am only able to watch three out of the six discs all the way through without it either freezing or just not playing. It is frustrating when you cant watch all the episodes that follow on and now I am stuck as i cant return this.

I truly love to bits chicago PD & I mean just that. Am NOT interested in Chicago Med nor Chicago Fire. Simply not for me.When can I buy Chicago PD series 7? ?Apologies errors. I really appreciate this show and can't imagine how the actors learn their lines day in day out. Is there a new helper in this digital age ??Lotsaluv & thank you all for your dedicated work.How

I've watched every program of this Fantastic show right from the beginning. Were now ready to re watch Season 6Season 6 is as fantasticly gritty as Season 1 !! It's Simply the Best Program on TV !! It's a must must watch, you won't be sorry.

Have watched all the series of Chicago PD and they are all excellent. Good story lines, interesting characterizations, clips along at a good pace, all in all very engrossing and hard to resist binge watching the whole lot.
