Purchased this bag for my granddaughter who was looking for small cross body bag that would hold a book. The bag has fabric covered interior with a small zippered compartment on the body side of the bag that should hold her cellphone, however I'm not certain that the small zipper is strong enough to take such constant usage. The double closure makes the purse secure with another zipper across the top of the bag's interior as well as a magnetic catch on the exterior flap. The purse itself is a manmade composite material which resembles leather in appearance, but certainly not in texture. The jury's still out on whether this bag will be kept or returned, however if you're looking for a vintage "leather' bag keep shopping...

Cute purse but after using it maybe 5 times the stitching on the strap busted. It shouldn't be too hard to fix but it was a bit of a let down.

This not a leather bag. It is P/U Leather. I wish should say that the the main description,"Vintage P/U Leather Mini Cross Body." If I had known the bag wasn't genuine leather, I would not have added it to my Wish List. I am returning the bag.
