Went through a dry spell there for a bit, and needed to re-up on my go to aftershave. Straight to the Issey I went and no, I do not do the aftershave balm, blah. Real men love the burn of that alcohol baby!! The scent is mellow and not overpowering, a bit "spring" like, fresh scent I guess!! I also wear The One for men, by Dolce and Gabbana and have found that this combo works very well for me. Anyway, product arrived in the time frame that Amazon said it would, as described, without damage. Knock on wood, but I've never had a problem with anything sold by Amazon, be it shipping time, damage, etc. Know what you want, do your homework and let your fingers do the walking!! Glad I did!! 4.16.2014 - So I ended getting the "balm" aftershave from Issey Miyake, and let me tell you, I was wrong to say that the liquid, which is called the "lotion" in the descriptions, is the best. You can not go wrong with either one!! Buy with confidence from both sellers and do not listen to the cry babies about the sellers!!

I dislike that you can't spray on u

I have the eau de parfum L'eau D'issey by Issey Miyake so I knew this had to smell great. I bought it for my son and I was really blown away by its great scent. I don't like anything sweet or overpowering and this aftershave smelled even better than what I have. It's crisp and light but not too light to fade after a few hours. My son doesn't like strong scents either. I think it would be categorized as something on the citrus side.

I love L'Eau d'Issey as a scent, and prefer the after-shave splash form to the stronger cologne; this combination is not easy to find even in stores that carry the cologne, so thanks to Amazon for carrying it. The scent is a variation on a traditional citrus-topped light eau de cologne, but with unique notes of it's own, similar to the women's version (which is also wonderful) but lighter. It's very hard to describe in writing and I can't recommend buying expensive scents sight unseen (as it were), but if you sniff one of the family somewhere, and like it, this won't disappoint.

Scent was a tad different than the cologne. That’s a good thing by the way. Smells clean not strong.

This is my third bottle of Issey Miyake and I can confirm that the product in this listing is 100% genuine. I wear this aftershave every day, for work. A subtle, fresh scent that lasts for a good part of the day. Third bottle, but not my last. I will have no hesitation about buying the same aftershave in the future, and I'll be buying it from this seller for as long as they can supply it.
